  • Hi - I have used this site off and on for a few years, but like you I am ready and need to make some changes now. I want to lose about 20-25 pounds to really feel good in my clothes and feel strong. I could definitely use some teamwork and inspiration to stick to healthy foods.
  • I just found all the topics on endo and it is such a relief to hear the stories of others! I will check out the website as soon as I hit 'post'!
  • just found this topic. I too have endo - anyone else interested in sharing their diet modifications? I had surgery/lupron 3-3.5 years ago; lost one ovary due to v. large cyst. Also have extremely low progesterone so I take a supplement of that which has helped considerably. I would love to hear the stories of others!!
  • Just found this topic... I have endo starge 4 as well. I have been through laparatomy (full abdominal surg), lupron, etc. Melissa_w, can you talk more about your process of starting the special diet, then your process of knowing how/when/why to stop the special diet to a more normal diet? I'm curious. Thanks for any help!
  • I wouldn't be able to start my day without breakfast - I usually have coffee with skim milk, a little o j, and either homemade granola, oatmeal, or a healthy cereal. A fruit smoothie with fruit, milk, peanut butter, banana, etc also keeps me full.
  • also if you exercise you can eat more -- as with all things --within reason ;)
