splenda and other artificial sweeteners made me chronically sick and I will now live the rest of my life dealing with that so I use Stevia. being a parent is distracting and it's easy to gain weight like 1,000s do. You can stay disgusted or use that to make a change. Get your child involved too. Kids love to cook and measure and learn about health. You can do this and teach your child to be healthy at the same time.

stop using artificial sweeteners. They are harmful to your body and cause cravings. Stevia is a natural 0 calorie sweetener. In things like potato salad, sandwiches use more mustard and less mayo as mustard has no calories. Use an exercise ball at your desk if you can.

11 lbs is a lot - perhaps your body is adjusting. Check you measurements because you may be reducing but not loosing weight - muscle is heavier also. Try to concentrate on being healthy and carefully measuring food

Try Stevia - look at your local health food store for Stevia in many flavors. You add a few drops to water and yum! It helped me get off the sodas that have made me chronically ill. I enjoy chocolate and the peach.
