Alcohol, cigs (easy bc I only smoke when I drink) and cheese. I think cheese will be the hardest, by far. I'm not Catholic but I participate in Lent every year.

I'm running one at my work and after I got the participants narrowed down, this is the email I composed...we have a lot of people who participated but that couldn't readily come here for an offical weigh in so I just had to "trust" them. :) Hey LOSERS! Welcome to the competition!!! Our overall goal is to have a little…

Watching sports helps me immensely...if you like sports, give that a try. I tend to think about how much those people work out and how I can CHOOSE to do the same thing. Another thing that really helps me is using Podcasts that are designed for training...I'm doing Gateway to 8k now...this way I have goals that I "have" to…

I'm exactly the same way! It isn't from people pushing food on me though, it is from my own weakness...I do well when we go out to eat, for the most part, but the beer gets me every time. :)

Oh my! I'm on Level 2 and it is anywhere between 265 - 285...granted, I have only been doing Level 2 for 2 days...I'm in good physical shape though, so that's close to what it would be if I were on day 10. Level 1 was close to that, too.

I started this last week and I totally agree that 5lb weights are too heavy for a couple of the exercises. I'm pushing through, but just because I used them with her No More Trouble Zones (and I'm stubborn). Definately don't go over 3lb if you are not used to working with weights.

Thanks for the advice! I can't wait!

If you like trail running, go to Sugarcreek Metro Park. It is wonderful and you can get some good hills in.

Sounds good! Let me know if we need anything extra!

Thanks for the tip! As a vegetarian (married to a meat eater), I struggle to find new things to try when we are running around. He will be pleased to know that we can go to Chick-Fil-A!

When do we start?

Other than that, how do you like the program? I'm starting it 04/18 and can't wait!

Oakwood is really nice and you can get some good hills in, too.

If you want, I could get it too and we could help motivate each other to get some rockin' abs!!

I didn't know she had a 6 week 6 pack! I use her 'No more trouble zones' and LOVE it. I just started it back up yesterday.

I got a Polar from amazon.com - I would suggest you do the same. They are worth it and come with a chest strap which is the most accurate. I love it!

I would love to join a group that actually helps each other and sticks with the goals...I have joined a few and everyone is SUPER excited at the start and drops off of the face of the earth after about a week. I got back from my honeymoon a week and a half ago...haven't been able to find any motivation...today is a new…
