for those who do 30 day shred with a hrm

What does your hrm read for your time doing the video? Mine reads almost 500 cals burned, but I also have a sinus tachycardia so it reads high...if I go off circuit training on mfp, it is also high for the exercise according to those who wear a hrm. Anyone wanna share what their hrm reads?

    I only get somewhere around 275.

    I've been doing 30DS for 4 days now and it gives me around 400.

    Oh my! I'm on Level 2 and it is anywhere between 265 - 285...granted, I have only been doing Level 2 for 2 days...I'm in good physical shape though, so that's close to what it would be if I were on day 10. Level 1 was close to that, too.

    When I did it I was rarely over 300....usually around 260-280ish. What type of HRM do you have?

    It varies depending on my intensity level that day, but I have burned up too 425 calories before in a 20 minute session!

    for level one, i burn about 160 ~ 175 calories. for level 2, from 200 ~ 225. for level 3, about 225 - 275 :D

    Mines varies....If I actually give it my all I am normally over 400 calories, but it has varied from 350-500. I think it depends on your body size and like I said the effort you actually give.

    Of course it's different for everyone depends on your height ,weight, and age the heavy you are the more you burn.

    There is a lot to consider when using a hrm. Male or female, age, height and weight. so it will vary from person to person.

    that's pretty close to my reads as well.

    I've burned up to 550 when I was really out of shape and pushed myself really hard without stopping.
    I now burn about 425. I'm still pretty heavy so I burn more.

    Level 1 is about 140-160 for me, level 2 usually 200 or so, depending on how hot it is outside and consequently in my house.

    It's different for everyone...I'm on level 3 and it's about 227 to 247.

    How many calories you burn, really depends on your weight. I burn about 400+ calories on my HRM. I usually start the exercises before Jillian though, because I've been doing it for 4 days (and this is my 2nd attempt at it). So, I usually can get in more reps per exercise. I purposely try to get my heart rate up to about 160-170 during the 20 minutes
  • I'm currently on Level 2 (doing the low impact moves) and I get a reading at between 213-230 calories depending on how I push it. When I first started though, I was getting a reading between 280-300 calories.

    im on level 3 and with each level it has been between 241- 306 depending on how hard i push myself that day so i think 500 is pretty high for a 20 min work out..

    Like this thread because when I did her workouts I am always between 400-500. I know everyone is different but I will see people list only burning 250 and am like wow really, am I doing something wrong mine is so much higher.

    I am on Day 9 and burn about 250-300 cals. It depends on other things too.

    Gosh, now I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'm only at about 180-200 calories burned regardless of level. When I've pushed extra hard I was able to get it up to about 213, but that's the highest it's ever been. Maybe it partially depends on your resting heartrate? Mine is usually between 60-70.

    I push as hard as I'm capable of doing...172 lbs, 35 yrs old and I run every day, so I know it is my heart being an issue here. I have a polar f11. I think I will start logging 200 cals burned since everyone averages about that. Thanks everyone!!

    I just got my hrm today and used it during my 30ds level 3. Said I burned 273 calories.

    I'm going to do 10 for each level. I think this is about average, but not 100% sure.
