Read the OP, i'm done here, peace out.

I did it on purpose today to prove a point. I'll have a few days of low sugar now if you want? How many days do you want me to go?
-
Why did I resort to saying that? Not that it makes it right, but for the past week and a half the same two women have constantly "personally" attacked me - of course I'll respond.
-
No you didn't but you say people should be proving that it isn't addictive..
-
hahahaha
-
................. Because no-one has to prove that it isn't addictive...... why would they?????????? This is about a study (with no good evidence) saying it is addictive, and as you've said there is no evidence, but you keep mentioning the otherside of it as if I have to conduct studies/or someone else does to find out.…
-
For her, it is. Therefor, it is not nonsense. From her post she clearly was worried about her sugar intake as if it was damaging her, she didn't mention a medical issue - she does not need to worry about her sugar intake. Have a great day.
-
No-one needs to prove if its NOT addictive... People have to prove it _IS_ addictive.. HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THIS?
-
As scottaworley said, the study proved nothing. Secondly, one study doesn't amount to anything. Third, there is no third. I'm sick of the human race.
-
I think you're missing the important part I keep trying to get across. From gambling; there is a chance of a GREAT outcome, to un-do all the bad you've done if you've lost money, as an example. From eating, there is NO chance of ANY great out come, you're just going to continue to get fatter. If the person can't realise…

I agree, but these threads don't help issues when you've got a bunch of information which isn't even true floating around all day.
-
I quoted her, and told her, it is irrelevant - so yes? Yes i did. If you had kept your nose out, we wouldn't be having this conversation - it's because of threads like this people start to worry about their MEASLY 60g sugar content when they don't have to.
-
To prove something is addictive, you have to provide substantial evidence, not the other way around.
-
If she states she has a medical issue, I wouldn't say it's irrelevant, she did not - so it is, infact, irrelevant to her. AMIRITE? ofcourse i'm right
-
Ok, sure if you have medical issues. She didn't state medical issues. I eat 150g of sugar a day, maybe more, it's irrelevant whether it be 10g of sugar or 150g of sugar, (providing no medical issues)
-
It's not comparable to a food addiction, so its irrelevant?
-
I get that, but regardless - Food is delicious and it feels good to eat food you love, but there is nothing GOOD to come from it, as in.. you will get fat if you keep consuming. Gambling: Win lots of money, Lose lots of money. Win = Feel great Lose = Feel sad Food: Eat food and claim addiction eat it = get fat don't eat it…
-
I've already posted this; Gambling is another thing I personally can't compare. Gambling = an outcome of possible winnings. Eating too much food = outcome of turning into a whale. Nothing good comes from the latter.
-
Ok, tell me why that is non-sense, give it your best shot!
-
I'd guess simply taste?
-
Doesn't matter if your sugar content is high, its irrelevant to anything. Don't need to remove it from your diet if you like it.
-
Dad kept callin' me fat when i went downstairs haha so i was like right, ur doing my head in matey.. then booM
-
This is the point, they can't answer it because they're making this addiction up.
-

-
Maybe you're right, I don't know - I just see an addiction to sugar an impossibility. As for smoking a cigarette, I am the same as you, I can smoke for weeks and just stop, I can smoke for an entire year, stop. I've taken drugs in certain occasions, and stopped. Maybe it's all just because I don't have an addictive…
-
Yeah it looks disgusting, but tasted like heaven, I just chucked it in a bowl, I'm no woman I just wanna eat and get swole homie. Edit: Second photo = same bowl as the ice cream so the chocolates everywhere :D!
-
I eat half my calories at 12pm and half my calories at 6pm ~ :-)
-
Because it's easy to say "I'm addicted" as an excuse to be fat.. anything to comfort yourself. the simple fact is, if you don't want to be fat, eat less of it?
-
You can't really use the comparisons you have against me, that's ridiculous. I hate comparisons, this is about ONE sole thing. So you've established when you were depressed, you craved sugar because it changes brain chemistry. Ok, so if that is the case, that sugar is scientifically proven to change brain chemistry,…
