I workout with my personal trainer five days a week and he is also a licensed nutritionist. He says having one day a week that you can eat what you want in moderation is actually good for you and I have seen other research that says the same.

I already eat right, I keep within my calories and eat healthy food.
-
Actually since I first posted this I have been trying the 8/16 intermittent fasting because I am not very hungry in the morning so I just skip breakfast and eat starting at noon and stop eating at 8pm. This has worked really well for me so far, I am losing pounds again while eating the same calories. I am also adding 25%…

I think I need to make all my meals for a month or so and see how that goes.
-
I think you are right, i need to cook my own food more.
-
The truth is I do go there a lot, several times a week so maybe I do need to cut it out. I drink primarily water and zero calories sparkling waters. I have been drinking the new zero calorie cokes they taste great.
-
it's not that I don't lose but it will go up and down, my weight log looks like an EKG lol
-
I honestly am tracking very closely and only go over very rarely, I am not overeating that is what is frustrating. I tend to eat the same thing most days. My account is open so you can see what i am eating.
-
I scan everything I eat and weight it closely, water may be a factor because only this week have I been pushing my self to drink a lot of water.
-
Its open as far as I can tell and I am at the "see a doctor" stage, everything I am doing is right. I am tracking what I eat accurately, don't eat back my burned exercise calories.
-
I have been rather consistent that is what is the weird part.
-
2500 is the recalculated amount
-
yes, I weight everything with a food scale.
-
I would say two months or so.

The human body is complex, it's not just math.

Thankfully science is always changing and what people think they know is always changing.
-
I disagree with you but thanks for the comment.

I forgot it did that, honestly i am happy with the amount of food i eat right now. If i ever feel like i am not getting enough i will increase my intake but i feel good right now.
-
Yes, that is what MFP said i need to eat to lose two pounds a week.
-
I am already watching my calories, i am eating at or below around 2900 a day. I work out for a hour three times week and i want to get the most out of that hour. I don't know if walking on a treadmill for a hour will burn as much as weight lifting for an hour or doing half and half. I am also not sure if i should log my…

Sounds wise, but like i said i am always quite a bit under so it should all work out. It sucks how slow weight loss is.
-
I think i will stick with 2700 calories a day and then do my walking and eat the 1000 calories i burn from that. If i don't feel hungry and i have a lot of calories left over i think i feel better about that.
-
Thanks, there are times when i am not hungry and i have like 800 calories left in the day and i get worried that if i don't eat them it would be bad. Do you think my 2740 calories sounds about right for someone who is 452lb 6'4 and 29 years of age? I have a desk job and try to walk as much as i can but i would say i am…

I am getting one today.

Under estimating is a big thing me and my fiance were at panera bread and i saw this orange scone that looked yummy and in my mind i thought "that should be around 200 calories" turns out it was 500 i was shocked. I try my best to if anything under measure to make sure i am getting the right serving size. When measuring…
-
I log everything i eat and keep as close to serving size as humanly possible. I will not be replacing calories burned from just my normal everyday activity but i will be eating back half of what i burn in extra exercise.
-
If i don't see a result in a few weeks i might just lower it again.
-
Until today i was at a 3500 calorie intake so i am only today starting the 2500.
-
It was all bad eating and a addiction to mountain dew (i kicked it by the way) I ate whatever i felt like and used food as a reward for doing something good and as a way to console myself on a bad day.

It's ok really, i just hate people assuming things about me because of my size. It's really annoying how big and stupid get linked in peoples minds just like fat and ugly. I am a large handsome man deal with it world!
