Eagan MN here.

Aww man I love black licorice. I’d have to say that my least liked Halloween candy (other than the much mentioned Candy Corn *shudder*) were the Mounds and Almond Joy’s. I absolutely love them now but couldn’t stand coconut as a kid.

Same boat here.

Argon oil has made a big difference in my dry, chemically processed and curly hair. Maybe it could work for you too. Sally’s Beauty Supply has a few lines of shampoos, conditioners, and styling creams as well as strait up oil. They are more expensive than your basic shampoo but not terribly so.

I hate those cookies because they taste so good. I've only ever had one but it was yummy.

Eagan MN here but I grew up in Red Wing.

Strawberries and vanilla yogurt.

Your background sounds pretty similar to mine. I wish I'd had the brains to start working on myself at your age. :) Good Luck to you!

I had this exact problem myself. After doing loads of research I learned that part of the cause of this is your scalp trying to replenish the oils that are stripped by the sulfates in shampoos and conditioners. I started by washing every other day and it did take a while for my scalp to adjust and slow down on the oil…

The daily blow dry is definitely a factor here. Heat from blow dryers and flat irons can be very damaging. I have naturally curly hair and use CHI heat protectant when I flat iron or blow dry. I don’t remember the costs but I found it at Target, I don’t think it was more than $10. I would also recommend going a few days…

I'm 5' 4'' on a good day, okay really 5' 3 3/4" but I'm gonna take the extra 1/4 inch anyway. I've always been the shortest in my family and have gotten used to everying being taller than me. Unfortunately it looks like my daughter is going to be taller than me too, at 10 she can already wear my shoes. Gahhh!…

This may be a strange question but I'm curious if Zumba would be a neighbor friendly thing for me to try. I live in a second floor appartment and don't want to be that annoying person upstairs that makes too much noise. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Eagan, Minnesota (suburb of the Twin Cities) Where Tuesday's high temp was 102 and today is 62.

One of our cats is named Potato, we call him Spud, Spuddy Buddy and Spudicus.

I had exactly this question last weekend when planning for camping. I brought my favorite spicy black bean veggie burgers, lots of fresh and frozen veggies as well as frozen fruit and bottled water. The veggie burgers were fabulous on the grill with some low cal sandwich thins for buns and the veggies did great over the…

I'm not sure where you can find them in England but in the US they have them at health food stores and the larger grocery chain stores near the tofu. I just had these last night with some sauted peppers, onions and tomato sauce. They do have a bit of an odd flavor if you don't rinse them properly but like tofu, they will…

If one thing has always bugged the spit out of me, it’s some people’s blatant disregard for the “No Parking Fire Lane” area in front of stores. It drives me crazy when I see people just lurking there with the car running while they wait for someone to come out. This is what the parking lot is for people!

How has “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” not yet been mentioned?

I highly recommend EA Sports Active 2. I know it is totally cliché to say but it really is like a personal trainer in a box and it is available for a number of gaming systems. For the Wii it was $40.

We've had many pets with odd names. In recent history: cats named Flea, Franken-kitty, and Potato; ferret named Fizgig and two fish named Mario and Luigi. When I was a kid I had a pet chicken named Pecker-Wrecker.

Food allergies and sensitivities suck. I’m allergic to chocolate, dairy and wheat (possibly corn as well) and have to be careful about what I eat and how much of each thing I consume at a time. An ice cream cone or a bowl of cereal will send me into a body racking coughing fit accompanied with a sinus head ache and runny…

A drunk old man on the bus once told me I looked like Meryl Streep. I was 20 and had platinum blond spiked hair. Those must have been some messed up beer goggles. In middle school I got Kelly Bundy a lot.

Caterpillars in frozen spinach. I found one in my lunch a few years ago (after eating half of the dish) and can’t stand the thought of buying anything but fresh. It was in leftovers too so who knows if we ate any the night before. Eeeww.

I bought some but am kind of scared to try them. Not sure what I want to make with them first, might tray an Asian noodle dish, maybe they won't taste as weird then.
