  • You were the inspiration I need today! I am 52, 5'4", started at 184 am down to 160lb with another 15-20lbs to go. Frustrated on how long it is taking and now started strength training, so I am not so fluffy for my trip to Mexico in a month. So thank you , you have given me hope. I might go research the Fitbit some more…
  • Add me if you like. I have lost 24lbs but not seeing as much as of difference as I want. Clothes fit better but it is the "naked" part I want. So starting this morning, I started back to strength training as well as cardio. I did all my strength training with the machines today and then did 30 mins cardio. I am going to…
  • Lemon Meringue Tea-tastes like Lemon Meringue pie. Perfect for curbing those cravings!!
  • Hi there, I am 5"4". Started at 184 July 31st, saw a picture of me on the beach and said that's it.... I am now down 22 lbs as of last week. It's been a slow go, but I look at it as a lifestyle change instead of diet. I am also a lot older than you, 52 years of age. But even just losing the 22 lbs feels amazing, another 22…
  • Usual is: Ice 1 cup Almond Milk-Unsweetened 1/2 Banana 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter or Almond Butter 1 tsp Hemp Hearts
  • Wow, awesome job!! You look fabulous and the dodgy Topless one made me smile!! Good for you!!
  • Almost doesn`t even look the same person! Awesome job and beautiful family!
  • Wow, I am so impressed! You look awesome. Loved your story. I started about the same weight and will be ecstatic to get to 143. It is a lifestyle change and it is slow but I will do it! Thanks for the further inspiration.
  • I am 52 years old. I am aiming for 136-140lbs. Will see once I get there....been about 12 years since I was that weight. Before I had children I got as low as 118 but couldn't maintain, went up to 128 pretty quick. Then after 2 children and exercise, 136 seemed to be a good fit until my divorce. I ate my way through the…
  • Wow, that is exactly where I am going....started at 184 and hoping to get to 136lbs. How tall are you? How long did it take you? I am a lot older than you....but I hope to look as great! Awesome job.
  • Thanks for the information, that helps :)
  • Wow, what amazes me is how much everyone looks so much younger with weight gone! Truly inspiration and motivation here.
  • Yup that is what did it for me! We were all on the beach this summer and my gf took a pic of me sitting in a chair-OMG! That was it....cut it out and put in my journal and start eating right and joined Fitnesspal shortly thereafter! 14.4lbs down and a third of the way there. Pictures don't lie and sometimes we just need a…
  • I hear you....I am a single mom and I was working out with a trainer and couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing weight. Then I started tracking my food! WOW-reality check.... I have always failed at tracking, until this time, it just clicked-it was my time and now it is just part of my day. All that exercise doesn't mean…
  • Wow, this was incentive for me. I started at 184 when I finally stepped on scales, too afraid to do it before. I was working out lots but then felt I could eat more....and now I joined MFP and been tracking, really made me see how much I was eating. I want to get to 136lbs, I was that weight before my divorce and was that…
  • Yes, so funny-since I quit eating chocolate while eating cleaner, I don't crave it at all. I even had a diet coke the other day and it was way too sweet. Or maybe it was the rum? ;) but I don't think so... I even bought my son some swedish berries as a treat and I didn't even have the inclination to scoop a few. That's…
  • Being on a girls weekend at the beach and had my picture taken. When we were looking at the pictures, I couldn't believe that was actually me! I was horrified. I had been ignoring mirrors so long and ultimately burying my head in the sand, that was my wake up call. Cut the picture out, put in my journal, took my…
  • I agree, I never drank a lot of water but once you stick to it, you crave it! I buy fresh lemons and put a slice in my water to help me drink more. That really helps! And the more you drink, it seems your body gets used to it and you have to pee less. At least that is for me. :) Good luck!
  • Is a group been started for this yet? Definitely on board-need the motivation!!
  • I am SO in....fairly new here, so what happens next?
