Would be great if you could share too.

Open - 1200. The last week is a bit hokey though as was off with flu. Try and steer clear of dairy and gluten, plus try and keep it relatively clean. Do exercise and will eat back, but trying to not be precious about it.

Love love love. I have a whole stash of these saved which rotate as my desktop and my screen saver, awesome to see more. Long live this thread!

Calcium from Dairy is generally calorific, unless you're mindfull (i.e greek youghurt, cottage cheese). Good alternative sources of calcium.... Green veggies: broccolli / kale / spinach Milk alternatives: soya / oatley (personally need these to be an ingrediant to something warm i.e. porridge otherwise not a huge fan) and…

If you're going on an elimination diet, dairy and gluten are pretty big ones. I'd try wiping out one first (for 1-2 weeks) first, before trying the other. With either, it may just be the amounts. I can tolerate low amounts of both. Oh caffeine was another big one for me, that includes soft drinks and coffee. I've been…

I would love to get to the stage to be able to do proper press ups and non-assisted pull ups. Big goal of mine. Keep at it tabii, had a quick nose at your dairy. Dumbarse me also just noticed a similar thread here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/246113-what-have-you-done-today-to-make-you-feel-proud-bl Ah well,…

Motivation. My thing is when I get down towards my goal is being able to wear skinny jeans and look awesome.

It's really kinda different for everyone. You've lots of different choices to get to where you want to be, it's up to you to figure out what is going to make you happiest. Some people feel the need to obliterate them completely (but may therefore fall of the wagon once the "diet" is over, because they didn't make a…

I went looking for it awhile ago in Manchester and London, no joy in the major mults. I think it's an American thing.

nairns do a gluten free porridge available for UKers (very had to get oatmeal that is guaranteed not contaminated with gluten)

Similar issue on cardio machines, I'm now doing intervals. 1 min going nuts, 30 secs off, or 1 min go nuts, 1 min go normal. It helps me focus and challenge myself to beat what I did the last time.

The sun is good, the sun gives us Vitamin D (very important) and of course keeps away SAD. Even if you don't want a tan, you shouldn't need to avoid it, just use adequate protection. There are plenty of people who look awesome with pale skin (and defined), like Rose McGowan, Lily Cole etc. If you're concerned you…

Thanks for this. Absolutely agree, however a far wiser man than me (Stephen Fry on Twitter to be precise) has reminded me it's important to understand the whole picture. If you watched the above, please read the below http://theeducatedfieldnegro.tumblr.com/post/18894846735/we-got-trouble…

I am overweight and I find running really hard (shin splints plus burning out very very quickly), I've a way to go to build myself up and hopefully wind up liking it. So when I see someone my size running it makes me think a) they're great b) go them! c) I should be doing that. If I see someone bigger than me running, I…

Yep as the weight increased my libido decreased, could pretty much chart it. Positive side though is that having started to exercise again,it's on the up

You ARE worth it, no matter what you weigh. Just checked your profile and you've already removed over 40lbs that's awesome! How about getting yourself an awesome new gym kit / super cool trainers when you hit 50lbs?

Also for standing poses some instructors might ask you to roll your trouser legs up to, to improve your grip on yourself. Defuzzing before hand might be a good thing to do - also applies if you in other classes where you might be asked to do things on your back with your legs in the air (trousers fall down!). If you can,…

Skinny jeans, size 10, multiple colours (brights, white, grey), plus 1 awesome designer pair and a bunch of lovely tops to go with. Have never ever owned a pair of skinny jeans.

Ditto, plus before aim for nutritiuos carbs (as above), after get some good protein in to feed your muscles and help replenish i.e. Egg whites, tuna or if yourre out and cut short a good protein bar/shake. Bananas also good after to help with potassium.

I don't know if they're available in the US as yet, but maybe there's something similar or could help others looking at this post. I just found trek bars, no nasties / additivies of any kind (i.e. syrups etc). Just raw fruit, raw nuts and oats which give you 11g protein per bar and they taste awesome.…

Yep, on Sunday will be 3wks in and have killed 9lbs. Am just starting out so expect the rate to slow though. Plus I do make sure I net 1200 after excercise which seems to be working currently,,

This is forever for me, so I'm not going to be uber strict about things, it's a goal to aim for, so long as I'm within it all's good. Some days will be bad, but if I'm up or under, provided it aveages out I'm happy. If it's constanlty over I'd have to be happy and be planning to loose less. Privatetime - lots of respect…

....contentment, utter and total, in that moment.

Thank you soooo much, you've done exactly what I'm aiming for (start and your goal), with fitness too!! Great inspiration.

Thank you Since I took his comments on board, I seem to be hitting roughly 120g / day, is there any downside to this?

Awesome work! Do measure more (your thighs, arms, bust, hips etc) If you're strugging to see the difference for yourself (and there is, what you've done is huge) when you photograph your self, try doing it against something that will help give you perspective. You've got a great option between your bed and the wall, just…
