5'9" female, currently 191 (was 215+ when pregnant 2 years ago). Slow start to lose weight, now actively working to get back around 155-160

I will also add that many clothes materials can stretch over time making them bigger than they were brand new. For example, I have a pair of workout shorts from college that are Small; I wore size 6 jeans then. Fast forward to when I wore size 10 jeans but could still fit in the shorts. But to buy similar shorts now, I'd…

Probably water weight from sodium. I know I became way more sensitive to that during pregnancy. I would think it will go away in a few days!

You can invite me! I have a 2 year old and a 2 week old, so I'm not actively working to lose weight other than what falls off from BFing until I get the green light to work out.

I created a manual entry and log it as "exercise" so it shows up as extra cals to eat. This helps me make sure I eat the right amount of cals to keep up my supply. Hope this helps!

Started previous pregnancy around 160 and ended up over 200 (40+ lb gain  ) I generally only weigh on days I have an appt so I can compare what my home scale says to the scale in the doctor's office (they subtract lbs to account for clothes). But the after week 33, I've started weighing on days when I'm not…

Yup, that's me - she was due yesterday and nothing yet!

I'm with mg720 - I'm sitting at 39w with a due date of 15 March. Have had mild contractions (more off than on) since Wed night, but so far, nothing to hint at when she'll come. But I'm also hoping she'll come sooner rather than later - I'm done being pregnant! LOL

Oh, I had that heartburn with my first - it was terrible! Multiple small meals helped with lots of milk w/each meal (or tums). That whole wive's tale about heartburn = lots of hair on the baby? Yeah, that was true in my case! Hope it stays somewhat manageable for you!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting tired "sharing" my lung capacity with the little one - I'm constantly out of breath! Other than that, we're just impatiently waiting - 3 more weeks!

My midwife when my GD was ordered (done for everyone here) told me not to fast. That I could eat a normal breakfast, just stay away from anything with sugar, so eggs or toast (no jelly). I didn't do milk because I know there's sugar in it, but it was nice not having to fast. I didn't have an issue with the test - it tastes…

Congrats & enjoy your little one!!

Bummer - sorry to hear that! Hope it continues to go well for you!

Well, 12 lbs at a little over halfway done isn't bad. If you stay on track, you'll probably see 23-25 lbs by delivery which isn't bad at all. As long as you keep watching what you eat and exercising as you can, I think you'll be fine. Enjoy vacation!

I had one and what I did was google the question and look through the links that came up to see what they suggested and picked the ones that were important to me to know what her answer was. Here's a few links I used when building my list of questions (unfortunately I can't find my list right now or I'd give those to you -…

I didn't have one the first go around, but this time they've been talking induction at 39 weeks and I may be able to talk them into this first (which is more "natural" than medical inductions) because they don't want the baby coming late (increases the risk of certain complications because of what's going on right now).…

Haha, I love the ice cream idea! I don't personally have much of a sweet tooth, but that is one option I could support if I were in your shoes! Both pregnancies, I started at maintenance and ate my exercise calories back. First pregnancy at second tri I added 200, then upped to 300 over maintenance during the third…

Thanks - good news! While confirmed a SUA, everything else looked good with no signs of visible genetic issues and she was in the 55th percentile for growth! As long as everything continues on this path, she'll be a healthy normal baby girl

Good luck! I'm going in for my detailed ultrasound and fetal echocardiogram this afternoon (because of the SUA)... pray for continued good news!

So, being a temporary single parent for the last 2 weeks (with 3 more to go) is hard work! I'm constantly on my feet with a "go go go" constantly on-the-move toddler, and it's exhausting! And yet another reason I've realized why I'm not logging: by the time I finally get a moment to myself to just sit and relax, that's all…
