  • *steps on soapbox* I teach in a very diverse school district. My high school is a very suburban/rural area where most kids are fortunate enough to not worry about school lunches. That being said, the school lunch options are atrocious! Fried...Fried...Sugar...Pizza..and more fried. I really want to blame some of the 20 lbs…

  • When I got all of mine cut out, (before I was eating healthy) it was ice cream, applesauce, mashed potatoes. If I was to have it done now, mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, no sugar added applesauce, skinny cow ice cream, greek yogurt.
  • I didn't mind milk, but once I tried to drink a cup after a run and it ruined cow's milk for me forever. (I was sick for hours) I love almonds so Almond milk for me. Soy milk wasn't bad, just prefer the almond milk.

  • I second, third and fourth this. I have one and it was probably one of the best investments I have made!
  • I definitely see the crazy psychopath thing and he does sort of look like a 'tool'. He reminds me of my lovely Randy Orton. That's probably why I like him. But really, it's not good that he reminds me of anybody. He should be original! I really like Riggs too.
  • I don't like to take complete 'rest' days. I like the idea of 'active rest days' doing something else, working another muscle group. But, if you are starting to get discouraged maybe your mind/spirt needs a rest day?
  • I watch it. I hate that about Donnie Osmond he is really talented! And, I agree that Luke is a pompous *kitten*, but a sexy, talented pompous *kitten*. I'd love to be on that show! I want to get in the ring so bad! But I don't think they'd take a 5'0" nothing Diva!
  • Shoot, I got 2%Fage w/ honey the first time I tried it and was iffy. I decided to try Chobani, Oikos, and kroger brands (plain and all the different flavors) and they are all pretty tasty, but Fage 0% plain is still my favorite. I mix a teaspoon of honey with a 1/2 cup of yogurt and it's delicious. I litterally go through…
  • Awesome! I just ran a Rock N' Roll 1/2 in Nashville and it was an amazing experience. I might seriously consider one in the 'Lou!
  • What would "The King of Kings" say about all these tears?

  • I'm definitely doing one, but waiting until next year. I'm going to get a marathon in first and a warrior dash. Let us know how it goes!
  • This makes me want to give hugs and I hate hugs.

  • That website is a cornucopia of ludicrousness. I'm all for a looting party. I'm just pissed that I'm going to loose the $100 I put down on the world going to the crapper in a Zombie Apocalypse. Shoot.
  • I have a 24 oz Turvis Tumbler that goes with me everywhere. Every time I look at it, I take a drink.
  • I've heard ginger and eggs (the yoke included).
  • part skim/ reduced sodium string cheese no sugar added motts applesauce nutella/mini banana almonds and dried fruit
  • This is me to a 'T'. I will do dishes, load the dishwasher, clean floors, take out the trash...I HATE folding clothes and putting them away...
  • Amen, sister. Preach! Or in Facebook terms...*LIKE*
  • I never thought about wearing it for a 24 period, just to see how many calories I'd burn...hum I might do an experiment! (Yay for nerds!)

  • Sounds great! I'd use the walk as my warm up, but if you need more maybe walk down, back and down as a warm up?
  • When my husband and I get into it (arguments I mean), I actually go for a run. I feel so great just thinking it out while running. Plus, the endorphins aren't a bad plus either. Second, I'd suggest maybe a break from the kids or work for a day? Maybe do something that you and your husband haven't been able to do since you…
  • Do you go to a gym? What about a health foods store or a sporting goods store...? I'm sorry I've just realized I wouldn't know where to meet someone...
  • I eat 2 large meals a day normally. (Breakfast and Lunch) Many times I'm at a softball field from 3-8 and don't have time to eat dinner. So I bring my lunch box with portable snacks to eat during practice. On the days I'm off I've noticed I'm a lot more satisfied eating 3 large meals with maybe a little snack here and…
  • Hum, I'm stumped. I'd say soreness could account for a few pounds of water, especially if it were large muscle groups or a lot of different muscles. Good news is, from what you've said I highly doubt you've gained 4 lbs of fat. Like someone else has said that is a ridiculous amount of calories. Plenty of water and protein…
  • Well soreness could account for some of it, how about yesterday or the day before's sodium levels?
  • Why not just do it a healthy way, is it THAT big of a deal that you don't make it on that exact date? It's the ultimate goal just to get to that weight and be able to keep moving downward? I just don't want you to do something drastic...
  • Are you sore? It's possible that you are holding on to some water from the workout (when muscles tear and rebuild they hold onto water) and a not so good day of sodium. P.S. You're nuts.
