I have such a hard time eating all the calories I am supposed to eat just to maintain. Right now I am drinking a protein shake with yogurt in it just to try to get a few more calories before bed.

I am lactose intolerant. I had to add chocolate syrup to lactose free milk when I first started drinking it because it tasted so "wrong" because it was sweet. Now that I am used to it, I can drink it straight

I have been experimenting but nothing seems to fit quite right....yet  I will try some of your suggestions. I haven't tried, a little something before a morning run so that will be Saturday morning since I ran tonight. I just don't feel my best later in the day, like today, but my running partner hates running in…

When my brothequit smoking he took the ink out of a Bic Biro pen. It is approximately she same size as a cigarette, I swear he had that thing in his mouth for 2 months. But he stopped smoking and he never started again and that was over 20 years ago.

I have had 4 children and with all of them I gained approximately 30 pounds. However after both of my boys were born I lost 50. Pretty damn scary when your pre-pregnancy weight is 100 pounds. It took almost 5 years for me to get back to 100 after my last son (end of the line right there!). I have a hard time eating a ton…

My aha moment came about 2 weeks after I quit smoking (after 25 years) . I took a deep breath...I mean a REALLY deep breath. I thought to myself, "been killing yourself for 25 years, bout time you started living!" I started exercising and eating so much cleaner. I am healthier than I have ever been in my adult life!

Hi Brad, I'm new here too. I might not be able to help but I can be supportive!!! I quit smoking for good (no cheats) in January. I figured since I wasn't going to smoke anymore I might as well get healthy!! This is not an easy road but if we do it one step at a time, nothing is impossible!!! Congrats on the good decisions…

I just started yesterday....as of this moment in time Jillian Michaels is NOT my favorite person!!! My legs are killing me, but I assume that means my body is seeing some benefit from it.
