Hi, Canadian here on the other coast!
-
Took a short break at the end of 2014, but back at things for 2015.
-
Canadian, runner, lifter, and beer drinker coming back after a holiday break. Add up.
-
Father of 3 here, feel free to add me.

Here I'll help...Canada

Judging by the training I've seen at the local gym here, I'd never pay for it. Although what was said up above, a good trainer is worth it if you can find one. And I have to say you can learn a lot through websites and videos. A nutritionist or dietician would probably tell me to drink less beer and I wouldn't like that.

New Brunswick here too

I lost a pound in a week, didn't drop any in 2 weeks, then dropped another a week after. Someone already said weight loss isn't linear and I wouldn't pay too much attention to the pound a week thing based on settings. Of course, the not dropping weeks may correlate with increased beer and pizza, but I will need to study…

Longest run was 10K (6 miles) in an hour. Average runs are 5K usually under 30 minutes. Just did my best 6.4K (4 mile) time this week at 37:09.

I lift for strength and run for endurance. I didn't know I had to pick one.

Give your program a chance to work. If you go changing things too often you'll have no idea what works and what doesn't.

I loosely follow the 16:8 cycle just because it fits my schedule. I was never one to eat breakfast early in the morning. I normally don't work out fasted because my exercise times are usually later in the day. I generally stop eating at 7pm and fast until 11am but those times vary a lot based on whatever is happening.…

Firefighter here as well - I've moved to a more cardio centered program from a 4 day split strength training program. I'll send a request.
-
Very late 30's - runner and lifter here. Canadian too!
-
I have never been accused of under-eating :)
-
Going from no cardio and in under a year finishing a 10K one morning...I started on my normal run and pulled a Forrest Gump, I just kept running.

You can add me
-
I run and do full body weight routines in the gym. I do a couple of 5k runs a week. I'm on everyday and try to keep active with friends - feel free to add me.
-
I'm Canadian and I use Runtastic...I just didn't know you could add anyone on there.
-
I do it too...I follow the 16:8 schedule (loosely) and find it fits my lifestyle.

Maritimes!

I do 16:8 and eat two meals a day. It's great eating two big meals instead of trying to graze like I'm a deer :)
