  • My thighs have always been my biggest problem area. I've seen some amazing progress in the last two to three months. I'm eating cleaner and in a deficit, lifting weights, doing cardio after weights every day (30 minutes + one day cardio only), and going to the gym 5-6 days a week. It's really going to come down to lowering…

  • This is what hurts me--the fruity blended drinks. We're going to Mexico. I can't do straight liquor on the rocks, but I'm open for any low calorie drink suggestions!
  • I definitely plan to hit the gym in the mornings. I know they have some cardio machines and free weights.
  • Thanks everyone! I'm going to forgive myself for the pity food last night and get back on track with nutrition today. Y'all are right, it's the only thing I can control.
  • I did! I was scheduled to work out with my trainer today, but I have a horrible stiff neck, so he helped me stretch it out and sent me to do cardio instead. I did 25 min run on the treadmill, 20 on stair stepper, and 20 on the elliptical. We'll pick up our training session tomorrow.
  • I have a two and four year old. While my four year old is at school I take my two year old to the gym with me. They have childcare included in my membership, so he gets to play with other kids in a room filled with toys while I work out! ;) He seems to love it!
  • Hi! I'm 5'4, 151 working to get down to somewhere in the 130-140 range. I lost 14lbs on my own and now I'm working with a trainer to help me maintain muscle and lose body fat. Feel free to add me!
  • Thanks! Checking it out now!
  • Thanks for your input, ladies! I've been working with him for a week now and it's been great! He's kicking my butt, but I think he's going to get me where I want to be. I'm seeing his vision for my food intake now, and I'm thankful that he's more than willing to answer all of my crazy questions. Seems to be a good fit!
  • No, I'm not trying to build muscle necessarily. I need to lose body fat more than anything. I want to lose inches, tone, things like that.
  • Just to clarify, I wasn't trying to suggest that I continue to lift and eat at the 1400 calorie mark, I'm just concerned about eating at the 2000 calorie mark. I'm not trying to gain. I'm currently 154 lbs and I'd love to be in the 130s, but if I can look fit, healthy, and sexy in the 140s then I'm ok with that, too. What…
  • Yes, I was losing at 1400 and I still have more to lose. My body fat % is still high. I'm not as concerned with the number on the scale as long as I look fit and healthy. We'll be focusing on my macros (specifically protein) more than calories, so who knows if I'll even hit that many calories in a day. He wants my macros…
  • Sorry, double posted.
  • Any insight into my workout questions?
  • Thank you! I've really been focused on changing the quality of the foods that I eat, the portion sizes, the number of times a day I eat, and my water intake.
  • Any suggestions on ways to do that and a good calorie range to shoot for?
  • How do you do that?
  • Yes, I've definitely thought about this. I'm 5'4 and currently 153lbs. I mean ultimately, yes, I just want to look good.
  • Thanks everyone! I promise I didn't take anyone's comments as negative! Maybe I should rephrase my original statement. I have TOTALLY made a lifestyle change and I'm the happiest I've been in a long time! Ideally, yes I'd love to lose that weight by June, but all in all, I want to be as in shape, slim, whatever as…
  • My profile pic is from several years ago. I've had another baby since then. The meds did mess with my weight loss, but I'm off of them now. A 16lb loss isn't my final weight loss goal, just the goal I set for June. I actually have at least 27 more to lose.
  • UPDATE: They drew blood to test my thyroid and hormones. She gave me a shot to help with the itchy hives that Wellbutrin caused. She wants me to stop taking it immediately. She also gave me a new medication that i should start tomorrow, but I'm not sure if I want to. It's called Fetzima and apparently it's new. I've looked…
  • I've read about the seizures. I'm having the weight issue along with a severe skin irritation, severe agitation, etc. I think I'm just ready to come off of it. I'm going to my doctor today to discuss it. I'm nervous to come off of AD's altogether, but I'm also nervous to try something new.
  • It was prescribed to me for depression. My appetite actually decrease after I started WB, but no weight loss. I literally weight my food to the gram as well on my kitchen scale. I stay under 1500 calories...often closer to 1200. I'm having other troubling side effects as well.
  • My first med was Sertraline, which is the generic Zoloft. I was originally put on them for PPD...my youngest is almost 2, so I'm wondering if I can just wean off everything. I never needed anything before pregnancy.
  • According to one TDEE calculator I just used, it says I should eat about 1500 calories a day. That is more than what I've been eating. Could my stall in weight loss be that I wasn't eating enough?
  • I walk 2-3 miles a day and I do PiYo (a mix of Pilates and yoga).
  • I have out my info in MFP, but I was wanting to try TDEE, which MFP doesn't use. Or am I wrong?
  • You are very right. I need to get into this mind set. It's just frustrating not seeing the scale go down...I just need to hide it!
  • Yes, sorry. It was from all over. ;)
  • Thanks! I'm just trying to decide if I need to tweak something or not. I feel sure I'll start dropping soon.
