Gaining back 10lbs in 2-3 days seems very unlikely. Can you provide a list of the things you ate?

2 lbs of chicken breast for under $2?

If your diary is accurate, you're setting yourself up for failure. You're over 300 lbs so your body needs a lot of calories just to maintain your weight. That means that you can eat a lot more than what you're eating now and still lose a lot of weight very fast (it works, trust me). I'd not worry too much about exercises…

That's what I found: Needless to say, I'd still look at her :D

What are we then? Plants?

Assuming that the OP wasn't joking/trolling. Looking at attractive people and wanting to have sex with them is literally in our DNA and is the only reason why you even exist. Getting offended at how Life reproduces itself is ridiculous, at best.

The fatter you are, the easier it is to lose weight. Eat healthy food and don't eat if you're not hungry (unless you're exercising hard). When I started at 250lb, it was surprisingly easy to eat only 1100-1200 calories a day and I was burning fat like crazy without even excercising or feeling weak.

What about these? http://i.imgur.com/rHyKshC.jpg Edit: Can't post the pic directly here for some reason so here's the link.

I did it in 3 months also. No exercise.

Depends on your weight/height. When I started I was allowed 1550 calories or so, now I'm at 1280 (always been on a 2lbs a week diet). Even at 1280 calories a day, I'm rarely hungry. Cooking your own meals is the answer....low calorie recipes are your friends.

Coke Zero is the only one I like and I drink about 2 cans a day. It helps with the diet but I plan to stop drinking it eventually and stick with more natural stuff.

I make low calories and (fairly low) sodium pizzas by using whole wheat pita bread instead of regular dough, light mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, onions and green pepper. You could also add mushrooms if you like them (I don't). It's very tasty and pretty close to the real thing!

Counting when you eat out can be a major PITA. Here's what I'd do: I'd count one time to know approx. how many calories I eat on Fridays, then act like every Friday is about the same (assuming it is). So say your limit is 1500 cals daily and on Fridays you eat ~2400 cals (+900), then all you have to do is to eat at a 150…

Beware of serving sizes! Sometimes it looks like a single item is a serving size but you might be wrong. I've seen cookies with 2 servings per cookie! Sometimes they put a tiny serving size on purpose in order to trick people that don't pay attention into thinking that their item is low calories. I got caught many times…

Find a huge bowl, add a whole pack of prepackaged salad (here they are 340g, I like the iceberg with carrots and red cabbage mix) with 100g of poached chicken breast and a few tbsp of half-the-fat mayo. Taste good (to me at least), it's cheap, around 300 calories total, low carbs, low sodium, plenty of protein and…

We're pretty similar on this. Being hungry during the day is fine for me, what I truly dislike is being hungry AFTER a meal. I find it frustrating and that's why I prefer to eat most of my calories in one single meal.
-
I eat around 200-250 calories for breakfast, no lunch and then around 1000 calories for dinner. I keep 100-150 for a late snack. I do try to eat healthy stuff though, no junk. I'm doing this because I'm not very hungry in the morning, I get hungry in the afternoon and when it's dinner time, I really enjoy a full satisfying…

I too dropped a lot of weight during the first two weeks. From what I've read here, we'll gain about 5 of those pounds back when we start eating at maintenance.
-
Tip: Write what (and how much) you're going to eat BEFORE eating it. I always plan one day in advance so no surprise. If you still eat too much by doing that, it might be a motivation issue (or you have the wrong goals).

Lost 30 lbs in 2 months and I drink Coke Zero so I don't think it affects weight loss.

They were on sale last week and I bought 3 boxes. They taste OK but they are so tiny! Looks like they divided a regular 270 calories brownie in three and said "here's your 90 calories brownie!". I won't buy them again.

Probably around 2500-3000 (sometimes more obviously) but I'm a couch potato. I was eating only one meal a day too (dinner), but I was drinking calories during the day at work (coke, fruit drinks, etc) Most of the time I was lazy (and too hungry to take the time to cook!) so I would just grab fast food on my way home after…

These (for some reason they are 60 calories in Canada but 70 calories in the US?). Anyway, they taste exactly like the real thing and will do the job pretty well. US: Canada:

Buy a kitchen scale if you don't have one and enter your ingredients in MFP, see if the thing fits your macros then start cooking. I see no reason why you'd eat more when you cook your own food than with the frozen stuff. These are expensive and full of sodium/preservatives.

Had a birthday party today and my first cheat day in 6 weeks. I'm guessing in the 3000-3500 cal range (lots of sandwiches, cheese and cake). I feel like crap and guilty and I'm not happy at all. I much rather be hungry than feeling like that. It will not happen again before Christmas.

Some people would like to believe that their body no longer "likes" junk food but in my opinion, GUILT plays the larger role in this phenomenon. When you eat junk, you realize that it's not worth it so it becomes gross and makes you feel sick. Feeling guilty is a very good appetite killer.

It's incredible how you managed to turn your whole life upside down in only 19 months (which is basically nothing). This was very well written and inspiring, congrats!

Then why do we have a daily cap and it goes "in the red" when we bust it?
-
From what I understand, protein cannot be converted into fat. I don't even understand why we have a "daily cap" on protein. Looking forward for an explanation.
