I find the following link helpful. :) http://www.sushifaq.com/sushi-health/calories-in-sushi/ *oops...I'm just repeating a post above. Sorry!

Ever since the new algorythms....my Core has been overestimating my burn. Also, before this recent upgrade, I could drive with it on and it would NOT show an uptick in my calorie burn. Now....it says Im moving when all I'm doing is driving. ARGH!!!! I am not wearing it for about a month to see if I really need it anymore.

AWESOME!!!!

If this post doesn't prove the fact that we are all shaped differently... I'm 5'4 and weigh 174lbs. I wear a size 8 Levis and L and XL tops (much to the delight of my husband). :)

Congratulations! I'm not sure if I will ever get to the healthy range but just this morning I went from Obese to Overweight! JOY!!!
-
Just wanted to add that as of this morning I am no longer obese (according to BMI chart). When I started I was categorized as obese class II. Woo hooo!!!!

Thank you all for the kind words. For some reason I couldn't edit my original post so here are the pictures. This is me at 230 lbs: Me on the first day of my working out:…

I love broccoli. I love mushrooms. I LOVE broccoli and mushrooms roasted in the oven with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Before, I knew I was overweight but I when I looked in the mirror I thought I looked thinner than I actually was. Now that I've dropped 50+ pounds I look in the mirror and still see the 'fat' girl. Don't get me wrong, I don't think I look bad but I believe my brain has not caught up with the new me. I have to remind myself…

This is the response I got to my inquiry about the unusual higher burn: "On March 4th we made some improvements to the system. Because of these improvements, you may notice an more accurate, but slightly higher calorie burn than you are used to seeing. If you use a display monitor, you notice differences between the…

I don't need one sentence. I can sum it up in one word. MODERATION Took a long time to come to that one simple conclucsion.

I used to wear my hair fairly short when I was younger. When I met my husband I had longish hair and since he prefers it longer....and I really don't mind...I keep it long. As for my preference on a man, the best answer is "it depends on the man". There are men who are sexy beasts when they are bald. Then there are the…

At my heaviest (230) I was wearing a 42D. I know it was the wrong size for me but, hey, it worked...I guess. Currently (177) I am wearing a 36FF that I got fitted for. Wrapping my head around the FF took a little while. I must have been a G or something earlier because "the girls" are smaller than when I was wearing the D.

Agree with the post above. You look far from overweight. Besides with you working out as much as you do...you are probably solid. I don't think the BMI charts really takes that into consideration.
-
I can't really add anything to this post. I just wanted to say that sitting here at 178.....140 sounds like a dream.
-
You all look fantastic!

I agree with my friend Amy. When I started this whole journey, after so many failed attempts, I started with a personal trainer because I wanted to move more. After one week with him I realized that I didn't want to hide my pain and efforts with a layer of fat and started with MFP. I read everything I could on the forums.…

I'm 5'4 and my left calf is 15". I have always had muscular legs and my calves have always been solid. I'm kinda digging them as they are getting more defined. My friends say that I have "Tina Turner" legs....so it can't be all that bad. My husband also says he would not leg wrestle me....so there is that too. :)

I buythem at GNC but I believe you canget them online also.

I usually have a couple of Quest bars on me at all times. I find that it will keep me at the "not so hungry" stage until I can find an appropriate meal. That being said....I don't think the occasional high calorie meal is really that big of a deal. As long as you get back on track, that is. :)

Fake it till you make it.

QFT As for fashion....I live by 3 rules.....cleavage, peplum, bootcut. :D

Can so relate. I have gotten down to an 8/10 for jean size but still have to wear XL-1X tops. It gets to be a real pain when you want a dress....bottom fits....top is way too tight....top fits....bottoms can fit 2 of you. That being said, I have found that it's not all bad. I'm sure the pear shaped woman is thinking that…

Depends if he is walking towards or away from me. Face to face....smile and how his eyes are when he smiles. Him walking away....his jean pockets.

Cousin......sorry can't help with the Mom or Dad thing.

I find that I get sick less often. In fact, I'm pretty prone to headaches. It is normal for me to have a headache almost daily. However since I started to lose weight and working out (August), I've had maybe 2 or 3 headaches. Just that fact alone makes this whole journey worth it. :)

Watchers by Dean Koontz. What's your favorite thing to do on a cold day?

Besides you will be walking tons!

Anchorage, Alaska.....where it is warmer than a lot of the Lower 48 apparently.
