On days that you do both i find that weight lifting before cardio is best, that way i can really push myself with lifting and dont completely deplete my energy stores. I would also think about HIIT (high intensity interval training) once or twice a week as your cardio stead of a stead form for 30+ minutes. 10 minutes is…

I don't eat mine back either, granted my calorie intake is higher than the one alotted by your doctor. however just because you are on a low calorie diet does not mean it has to be low nutrition diet. If youre eating a lot of greens and vegetables they fill you up without significantly impacting your calories. I do agree…

Different methods work for different people. A lot of MFP friends have found that weighing everyday keeps them in line and helps them see where they stand. Once a week is generally advised just so you don't become so focused on the scale moving because as mentioned above ^ sometimes clothes or measurements are a better…

I agree, I think if you don't have a meal that is too heavy you will be okay. As long as it does not become an everyday thing. I also don't think that going under 1200 would be too stifling to your success if its once or twice a week. I know how you feel though I'm also a student and fitting in when to eat and exercise…

I know exactly what you mean! I have not even tried posting any of my goals on my Facebook because I know I will get mixed replies from my friends. They don't mean any harm but sometimes I just want to do things for myself without worrying about other people's opinions. BUt at the same time it doesn't hurt to have some…

I think that the mentality is one of the biggest obstacles someone wanting to lose weight has to overcome. It seems like you are on the right mindset though and although the scale is not moving as fast, you're right it doesn't mean your're doomed or you won't get down those last 11 lbs. i really hope your doctor's visit…

I'm enrolled in a gym so my goal is always to make it to their 545 a.m class 3x a week. when i do mange to wake up and do my exercises for the day…
