Piggybacking this thread, but... What about someone who works in retail (clothing) on the sales floor? Constantly walking around a large store carrying around hangers of clothes (or piles of folded jeans) can get heavy surprisingly fast. I saw the salesman example so I picked that, but I figure I do as much walking and…

I instantly judge you if you mix up the words that we all learned in 3rd grade. Please call up Mrs. Brown and ask her for a refresher course. Thanks.

Huh, I had heard that the oatmeal was actually pretty good (nutritionally and taste wise). That's what I get for hearsay I guess. I stil have a coupon for a free one, I'm tempted to see for myself.

All drinks count as water, regardless of what is in them, because all drinks are water-based. For comparison, just because you put dressing on your salad doesn't mean you didn't get the iron from the spinach. It's not like the additives negated the good stuff that was already there. Obviously you have to watch what all is…

Is there a cheaper Greek yogurt out there? I can buy a 6-pack of Lucerne light yogurts for $1.77 (90 calories each) but the greek yogurt I looked at was like $5 for a 2-serving container! I admit I only looked at one brand (dunno if there even were more) but my boyfriend was ready to move on to the next section of the…

Don't worry about go over your allotted protein... the recommendations this site makes are usually stupid. Eat as much lean meat as you like (well, within reason) :)

I don't believe restaurants are required to provide nutritional information for their foods (calories etc) other than ingredients in case of an allergy. If I'm wrong please let me know, and let me know where I can get the information for El Fenix's Pollo a la Parilla! I spent forever googling that the other day. I tried to…

Came here to post this. Was following the "light" recipe on the side of a box of something and it said to substitute it for butter. JEEZE! From now on I'm just leaving it all off!

The bagel, jam, and eggs were from the hotel breakfast so I didn't have the option of taking out the yolks, and of the options I did have (bacon, etc) I still think it was a pretty successful and very filling breakfast away from home :) Also Wendy's chili was on the road back home (same thing to the poster about my Jimmy…

Weight watchers has some strawberry smoothie bars (like popsicles but creamy) and they are REALLY good but only a handful of calories (can't remember off the top of my head, sorry)

I'm tiny and according to my scale I lost 4 lbs overnight on my second day of joining here and counting everything I ate. Def water weight.

This is great, but I never eat fast food breakfast. Is there a similar article about lunch/dinner foods from FF places? I'm tired of subway!

I have that shirt you're wearing in the first photo :) Great job!

Thanks guys, I'm making a grocery list now :)

A lunch box with ice packs is fine for my daily lunch, but I'm looking for something more for unplanned snacking. Something more like I can leave it in there for a month and only pull the box out every 3 days or so. You know, pantry food!

The bag is huge and has something like 15 servings, so it's tough to eyeball it like that haha. Also I don't have anything to weigh it with. I'm less worried about the calories than the carbs which is why I asked... I keep going over :/ I thought the "it takes more calories to chew [x food]" was an old wives tale. I mean,…

I'm 5'2 and 124. People still tell me I'm "too skinny" and I need to "eat more" but I know what you mean, I want to eliminate squishy spots and tone up muscles! As long as you're at a healthy BMI and getting the right nutrients and staying active good for you :)

I just noticed a new kind of Smart Ones at the store yesterday and tried it today for lunch: "Pasta Primavera" (bowties in alfredo with broccoli carrots and peppers) and it was REALLY GOOD. In my experience you can't really go wrong with any of Smart Ones alfredo pastas. Their veggies are always great but their meats and…
