i'm 5'6", current weight is 159.8 and 12 lbs from a healthy bmi. i have actually been told not to get too skinny and that i look haggard. seriously? whatever. i dismissed the comment and just ignore her every time she talks to me about my weight anymore.

this is what i do as well. i don't deprive myself. if i want something, it has to fit into my day. if it doesn't fit, i make it fit by working out a little longer.

i try to eat all my exercise calories back. it has been working for me. good luck to you

^^^ this is not a typical weight loss for me. i had some longer workouts this week because a friend was coming in to town for the weekend. i knew we were going out to eat and drinks so i worked for it. i didn't want to have to worry about what i chose to eat.

i was shocked wen i first started using mfp and saw how much sugar i was consuming. most of it was fruit, but there was the chocolate almond milk, so i cut that out altogether. and i only eat half a banana instead of a full one. just tweak a little and you should be able to get the number lower. i'm stil not where mfp…

I have seen this idea posted before and I do like it. I also keep a picture of the "bigger me" on the fridge and i see it every time i go to open the fridge. I am currently reading "The Skinny Rules" by Bob Harper. I figure at this point if I do more reading up on the subject, maybe this time I will be able to keep it off…

I log by the time as well. It makes it easier for me to see my patterns. I work third shift so my day begins at 3pm, when I awake for the new day. The only thing I find difficult about that is that I'm 9 hours earlier than actual time/new day. actually a day ahead of the calendar because my day starts at 3pm. So I'm trying…

There's been a lot of great advise already given. I weigh and measure everything. I also log all my food first thing in the morning so I know what calories I have to "play with" if i have an urge to eat something. This is what has been working for me...... planning ahead.
