  • Just saw this. I'm in for 20#'s or more. 60 days to go to 4/1/18....YIKES
  • I just switched from Keto to WW on Sunday...I've done WW before with success. Keto was just too restrictive and I have a 10 year old. Especially when traveling. Not to add I kept losing and regaining the same 5 pounds. I think what happened for me I was doing well on Keto for 4 months. (only 15 pounds) then I went on…
  • Thanks everyone for posting. 1. I only have high blood pressure. So, I'm sure my body is working on that as well. 2. I do Orange Theory workouts. I usually burn between 500-600 calories in my class. I get in 2 walks a day about 15 minutes. Not sure where they are getting 1000 from, but I don't eat back workout calories. 3.…
  • My sleep is much better with Keto, especially after being diagnosed with unexplained insomnia. I am considered obese...5'5" 200#'s, but my doctors were baffled. Labs came back normal, MRI - normal, sleep study-normal. Been Keto since March 1st. 20#'s down, dr. thining of taking me off bp in 6 months. Best sleep of my life.
  • Glad I have a blood pressure cup and I have magnesium citrate powder at home as well. Will start incorporating that back into my diet. Thanks for the info. Will watch it closely. Good article also.
  • Not sure if you are aware, but there is already a January biggest loser in progress. It's called Biggest Loser Monthly Challenge - group. They assign teams every month.
  • I find that the HR is just merely a tool to make me stay active. I don't really swear by MFP or Fitbit, but they both keep me in line and that's why I continue to use them. I wouldn't be quick to blame an app, watch, HR monitor, etc. for weight gain. Putting on muscle could be the culprit, your monthly cycle, or even…
  • I did both a few years back. I juiced for a few days then ate "clean". I did this for 3 months and lost 30 pounds. I thought the movie was awesome, gave me some more tips and inspiration to do it again. The first 3-4 days is the hardest. When I felt like giving up I ate cooked veggies and then got back on track. I helped…
  • No, not all the toys. When I pick up my daughter she puts away what she is playing with at that time. Think about it (using the dressing room as an example). Do you put away all the clothes from all the dressing rooms or just the one you were in. Sometimes there are 15 kids (max) in the room, I be darned if I subject my 4…
  • Why AGAIN - What happened the other time? I am thinking about doing this, because I have been working out for 4 months (not the last 2 weeks) and eating 1200-1500 calores had only lost 5 pounds, so I am doing something wrong!
  • DITTO! This is what I did. i got married in July. Started looking for the style I wanted in October. I bought it in April one size too small at that time. So in October I was wearing a 12, but by April I was in an 10. So, I bought a 8 and it fit perfectly. I tried the dress on every two weeks and got it cleaned the week…
  • bump for my topics~
  • Checking out now! Thanks!
  • I did it! Yes, I did and I'm not afraid of today's run!. Thanks to all of you for the encouraging words and advice. What got me going is a "Mantra" of all different kinds of things. But "I did it" and that's all that matters.
  • Thanks - and it's a DAILY request
  • Ok, ok - thats what I will have!
  • Boiled egg? Maybe?
  • The scale is NOT your friend. Just this morning I did my weekly weigh in and was very pleased. I didn't eat, ran some errands and went to the gym and worked out for 30 minutes only. I came home and the d*** scale said I was 10 pounds heavier. I keep saying that I'm not gonna step on the scale again, just gonna gauge with…
  • Unfortunately, we ASSUME we are eating fewer calories when we are actually eating more; For example, I would just pour a bowl of cereal and add milk to my liking. When I actually measured the cereal and the milk it was a lot less than what I was consuming. So, I was consuming 260 calories vs. 130 per serving I was suppose…
  • I agree with her, when I'm sad and stressed I won't eat for days. But I eventually made up for it. My ex worked in the heat and his stomach just couldn't take a lot of food. Give him to go shakes, Muscle Milk is a good one and just keep cooking for him. It's temporary. If he shows some really serious signs, like missing 2…
  • I wish I had some advice, but this sounds like me except I'm not gaining just stalled for the last month. I have been working out 5-6 days a week. And this week I have been doing 2 a-days since I am on vacay. Hmmmm, gonna sit out for today and tomorrow, and aim for 3 workouts next week and see what happens. GL and I will…
  • Uh-oh. Let the debate begin!!!
  • I would put them out "THIS" summer. Since you are determined to be smaller "you will be". Don't look at them (the clothes) as a safety net for "if I fail". And when winter rolls around you will be smiling even bigger when you have to spend money for new clothes:laugh:
  • I wouldn't worry too much about it. The number is for "processed" sugar, not natural (fruit). Some people make notes of their natural sugar, so they don't freak out when looking back. I on the other hand just limit my processed to the recommended amount and limit my fruit to2- 3 pieces per day.
  • Bumping to keep when I become discouraged. Thanks!
  • bump and thanks
  • I have gained and loss DURING my cycle. Just depends on how much sodium I have/am consuming. My weight will go back to the amount of pre=period. So, If I weighed 175 day before period I would be up to 178 depending on sodium or water rentention during period and then back down to 175 after period.
  • Where do you purchase these at? Are you using it as a meal replacement?
