  • I'd like to join in! 3 days late...but I've done it before. Does anyone know the estimated calorie burn for each level?
  • I have to add, though, that I would much rather believe the other numbers!!! lol

  • I have no idea about an accurate calorie burn for Zumba--I have heard that it's a lot more, too. But I have been erring on the side of caution & I count it as "Dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist". It's 342 calories for 60 minutes... I have been eating my exercise calories, too, and have still been losing...

  • You will be sore, but it won't last, so keep on pushing through! It is such a huge reward (was for me, anyway) when you finally get to the end & are able to complete the whole workout! Keep up the good work!
  • Then don't. :-) I have no clue about heart rate monitors, calories burned/accuracy, or any of that. What I have done on MFP is stick to my goals, be brutally honest about my food logs, and always err on the side of caution when logging exercises AND eating my exercise calories, etc. I have had success with this. It is so…
  • I have had the same problem and it drives me crazy! I have no clue what to do about it and had started to think I was the only one...
  • What an amazing accomplishment! Congratulations!!!
  • When I log into MFP, there's a flashing yellow-to-black banana to the right...when I clicked on it one day, I found out it gives an intro to the Flat Belly Diet. From what I took away from that intro, it's basically leaving behind the sugars (real as well as artificial sweeteners), caffeine, and processed foods. It's…
  • I love Zumba! I have been going twice a week for almost 2 months and am sad that the classes will be ending for the summer soon. I did buy Zumba for the Wii, though and plan to use it on a regular basis. Zumba was the different exercise (than what I've ever done) my body needed to shock it into changing!
  • For me, it's the week before. I do notice a difference (for the better--not retaining as much fluid) when I'm drinking enough water on a regular basis...
  • Dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist is what I have been counting it as...but I don't know how accurate that is...
  • You may have already seen this before, but take another look--it's what got me over the feelings of "why bother?" http://www.onemorebite-weightloss.com/muscle-to-fat.html In fact, I even set it as my wallpaper on my computer as a reminder! You are doing things the right way, modifying diet and exercise. I agree with those…
  • My first question is in regard to the grading system. I know with some professors, they may give what we know as failing grades, but their entire grading system is different, so say a 65 ends up being a B or something like that. I have never figured out the point to that, but nevertheless... My next question is in regard…
  • Yes there's a difference! Great work!!! I think it's really hard for us to see the changes ourselves. We see us every day! haha You're an inspiration!
  • I'm new to the site and I love this challenge! I will weigh tomorrow and post it afterwards.
