thanks for sharing...don't have the guts to show pics yet myself...actually, I have "guts" just no courage...I hope I'll have the same type of success as you have shown! Congrats, dude!!

Sounds as if your approach is very sensible (and therefor very likely to succeed!). Congrats on your progress so far! Feel welcome to add me as a friend. Look forward to walking the journey to better health with you!

A couple of points might be worth considering...I found the only time I could make exercise "fit" into my schedule was to hit the gym before I start work at 8AM. Otherwise, other priorities (son's homework help, laundry, mowing the lawn, an extra hour on that *hot* work project, ect) overtook my committment to myself. I…

First of all you are very correct to not be stressing...stress really adds to the difficulty of attaining the goals you desire. Second, MFP sets your target of 1250 base to enable you to lose weight at a healthy, maintainable rate based on your base activity level. So, if you exercise you should eat back some (most) of…

Like many of those who have already responded...a morning workout is the only way I can guarentee myself of getting it in. This way if I do tip my calories a bit over...I have already done most of the work and only need to squeeze in a bit more to cover my slip up.

Great to see your success! Thanks for being an extra push toward my own goals!! Keep up the consistent effort. Wish you all the best.

congratulations on choosing a healthy path! I'm also on 'not first time'...but it really feels good to take back some control in my life. One of the best things is that being healthy is a daily choice for me...some days I make better choices than others...but each day is full of positive potential as I get out of bed...you…

I've been there...on my 3rd attempt..but as my workout buddy says..."your not dead yet, so might as well get healthy". Just take a few breats...figure out the lesson you needed to learn and keep moving forward. Best of luck for your future success!!

I'm sur ethat the personal relationships and counseling were an important part of the WW experience for you. I'm so sorry tht you have been disconected from the support group you had through that. Hopefully you can develop similar connections elsewhere that are not as costly...The important thing to understand is that WW…

There are many weight-loss implacts of exercise...however, I'd like to volunteer that for me exercise is more about the NSVs (non-scale victories). I am on my second time trying to succeed using MFP as a tool. The first time I lost 40 lbs in about 4 months. I didn't quite have the mental stuff to stay focused when some…

I haven't read thru all the many responses...however, 1200 cals is probably your suggested base. Your exercise should add cals to that the more you execercise, the more cals you have to consume. Best to try to eat all your cals, I've heard, to maintain proper nutrion and metabolic function. So...if you do absolutely…

Thanks to all for the welcome...happy to share the journey with you! Grateful for your support!

Excellent! Your goal is so close...keep it up!

not sure what your current state is...but 1000-1400 calories sounds as f you have set your body on a 'starvation mode'. If we don't consume a minimum amouunt of calories, our bodies (being the sophisticated systems they are) reacts by storing every available calorie as fat because something is not 'right'. The sensible…
