  • I do not agree, they just want to keep us docile, now that we have learned that low fat does not work, another way to promote bad carbs I bet. I always find myself more masculine (testosterone up) with greasy red meats and pork! and my last fluid check total cholesterol was 170! I stay away from grains, specially GMO's!!

  • went for a 2 hour mountain bike ride, the sport tracker I was using on my android smart phone said 1756 cals, the RHYTHM 1306 cals, 450 calories less. I kept an eye on the heart beats and I averaged 112, which is the start on my fat burn range!
  • just finished a tread mil run, 45 minutes. the Rhythm said 575 cals the treadmill said 730 cal burned. both saw the same Heart bits per minute and of course my age and current weight. next will be to test it on my bike. I am pretty happy with it so far!

  • yes scale was the first thing we got with starting MFP. my fear is that too large a calorie deficit will trigger starvation and stop weight loss. I drink about 10-12 glasses of water a day and keep my sodium in check.

I get one number from my HB tracker, another from MFP (based on minutes) and another from the cardio machine.
