Here's my brief answer-- increasing your activity level with cardio and strength training will not only raise your metabolism, but you ought to be eating more and more liberally to support your growing muscles!

The title of this post made me laugh because it was briefly right below one saying, "20 lbs lost!" :drinker: congrats, though!

First off, you've got the right idea about making incremental changes. I have gone about 14 months mostly-clean eating and trust me, you won't want to go back! The best piece of advice I can think to give is to track how you're feeling. I kept a journal and I was amazed to see stuff like "Day 3 - Skin is more radiant",…

My primary motivation is to have the healthiest body I can so I can hope to have healthy pregnancies and raise a happy family, and ultimately, live longer. A more time-specific motivation, however, is my desire to quit being compared to my teeny cousins who haven't even hit puberty yet :grumble:.

I'm from the Twin Cities, Minnesota and I swear to god I met the stupidest woman on earth who, when I told her where I was from, furrowed her brow and asked, "People can live there? I thought it was like a tundra."

Please, do anything but planks. They wreak havoc on your lower back and SI joint. Pilates or yoga will tighten up your core soon enough.

That sounds great! When you're starting out, you'll need longer rest periods (3:1) and gradually increase your high-intensity to match rest time. Looks like everyone's giving you some great answers. Have fun!

Most people underestimate how much protein they should be consuming every day. Yes, too much in one sitting can put stress on your liver and kidneys. 25 grams at one time is about all your kidneys can take, but if you draw it out over the day, it can be really beneficial to your overall health!

Absolutely put it in writing, but I think you ought to hand it to her and explain face-to-face. Let her know that you don't want to leave them high and dry looking for someone to fill the position, and that you're willing to find and train a replacement.
