protein powder! A good one is Life Time Life's Basics Plant Protein powder. 24 grams in 2 scoops (25 grams is about all that your body can process at one time) and about 150 cals. Check out my food diary for how I make them :)

Yes, you can reduce water weight and/or swelling like they do in spas, but making yourself sweat more isn't going to aid in real weight loss. As a matter of fact, I think you risk dehydration and any bacteria being close to your skin for an extended amount of time may resulting in a rash (maybe that's just me, but I have…

Challenge yourself to going 2 weeks+ eating clean and trust me, when you go to indulge in that (deserved) treat, you won't enjoy it as much.

http://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates?feature=watch Check out POP Pilates channel. I've done a few and you feel the burn and see results but somehow I'm not sore the day after (which is a welcome bonus).

that's a huge NSV! How exciting!
-
Samesies! I have a really hard time breaking 600 most days which sounds shocking but I'm eating a lot. I'm curious to see what others have to say.

Age- 17 Height- 5'4" Current Weight- 120 Goal weight- 108 I want a twin! Anyone around me send me a request!

I believe so! 21-23% is "healthy" but I believe I have similar numbers to you and my doctor had no objections. Sounds like you're great. Just remember that this doesn't mean you have 22.3 lbs that you can or should lose- a healthy woman needs some fat. Army standards describe 17-22 lbs of body fat "lean" and 22-25 lbs…

my blood circulation! literally -5 lbs and my feet aren't purple anymore.
-
I've got the opposite problem. I misjudged my weight when I got mine, and now it says I'm 20 lbs heavier than I am! And 2 inches shorter... ugh
-
Well I'm just shy of 5'5" and my goal weight is 108-110. I've been there before and my entire family is very slim, so yes, this is a healthy goal for ME. Not for everyone, obviously.

I don't even use my fitness tumblr anymore because I get all of my motivation here! but my main page is www.3307848.tumblr.com ;)

someone wrote an excellent post about this... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/230930-starvation-mode-how-it-works?hl=starvation+mode I hope it answers your questions!

Sure, its good fat, but too much of anything isn't good. I love peanut butter and limit myself one serving per day (with bananas, ezekiel bread etc) because the calories themselves really add up.
-
I'm 5'4" 120 lbs and I am currently wearing 4/5s. I have a small frame, though, and was a 0/1 at 104 lbs.

samesies. Its frustrating, but listen to your body and I'm sure you'll make amazing progress!

Cut back on the strength training, at least. You will usually retain lots of fluids whem you are doing strength training that often. I know, for myself, that I can be doing everything on track but overdoing it with the weights will add .8 - 2 lbs! (which eventually goes away, but still....

It is definitely different for everyone, but the rule "first on last off" is pretty true. Personally, stomach comes off first and easily, then everything else.
-
mmm a slice of ezekiel cinnamon raisin bread with preanut butter, a banana and a hardboiled egg!
-
Oh oh oh! Atticus I love that name. It sounds pretty and Atticus Finch was a man of real integrity. I just have to wait another decade til I have children....
-
A few of my cousins have unusual names.... Zadoch, Crusoe, Arroe, Rashida... I can't remember the rest but their parents said that with their last names being Johnson, they had to spice it up a bit. My name is Allegra, which everyone thinks is strange, though its not uncommon. **btw I was named BEFORE the allergy medicine.
-
BUMP I am definitely having the same issue.
-
If some of it is resistance I don't think you ought to worry. If you were doing 90+ minutes of purely cardiovascular, you would run a risk of injury. Since you're working out so frequently, just pay special attention to how you're feeling.
-
"Cheat Day" to me means that you're cheating yourself out of your hard work, which is why I don't employ them.
