1) Eggs 2) Salad with low cal dressing 3) Carrots 4) Apples 5) Yogurt These foods keep me full and satisfied on a limited amount of calories.

I usually have coffee when I wake up. Then I'm not ready to eat for a couple more hours.

I'm a teacher too. Sometime, I let myself indulge a little bit, but mostly I'm able to resist the goodies. The trick is to eat enough and to have your own healthy snacks to counteract the goodies we are exposed to.

You need to see a doc. Don't exercise through that kind of pain.

I was 43 when I started this. A year later, I feel 20 years younger. I have so much energy and can feel my muscles working even when I do everyday activities. I recently was called "The hot lady" in front of the house by my son's 18 year old friends (LOL). You can do this. It will make you look and feel years younger.

It sounds like you need to schedule a cheat meal once a week. Do not allow yourself to go crazy until that meal and once the meal is over, your cheat is over. It's controlled cheating and can actually rev up your metabolism as well as inspire you to do well all week. You are up 3 pounds today. If you drink lots of water,…

Good luck!

I think a lot of people shy away from weight training because you don't appear to lose as fast. The good thing about it, is it gives you a better shape. My waist is smaller than it's been since before I had kids even though I weigh a little more now than I did back then. Inches and pant sizes are a much more accurate way…

As you go through the process, you'll learn that no food is off limits. If you have a particular problem with one food, you may not eat it for a little bit. As you get used to the healthy eating, you'll learn how to work it in to your normal diet.

The weight will come off. When I started, I was losing inches but not pounds. My body was retaining water in my muscles to protect them from all of the unexpected activity. Once my body got used to the exercise, the pounds started coming off. Hang in there. If you keep it up, eat a balanced diet, and exercise regularly,…

I'm still dealing with my "mother's apron". My last pregnancy was 19 years ago. It's shrinking but I don't think it will ever be "normal" without surgery. You can make your belly look better with weights and ab exercises but it may never be perfect.

A cup of salad with low cal dressing with my lunch really helps fill me up without adding many calories. I also have baby carrots as a snack in the afternoon. It's superfilling for only 35 calories. We all have this problem at first but as your body gets used to eating better food, you won't feel hungry for long.

You look great!

When I started, my goal was a 6. Now I'm a 6 and my goal is a 4. I don't know if I can do it. I'm sure gonna try.

Add some milk, peanut butter, and fruit. Those are healthy ways to increase your calories.

I always have a pooch when I wear low-rider pants. Even skinny girls have this problem. You can try either wearing pants that cover a little more of your belly or get some good control top panties to suck it in. A pooch doesn't mean you have to lose weight. Try toning and the above suggestions. Hang in there!

It's helpful to know by how much you go over so you can make it up over a few days. I don't always log my cheat meal but sometimes I do just to see how bad I did. Sometimes I'm surprised that it's really not as bad as I thought it was. If I go over by 400 cals, I can just eat a little less and work out a little more for a…

I usually eat from 1200-1400. I burn about 1500 cals a week in exercise. I'm 5'4, 130 pounds, size 6.
-
I eat raw carrots. It's low calorie, tasty, and crunchy.

I have a food addiction. I've been following MFP for a year and I've lost weight as well as many inches. I just accept that it's a part of my life. I allow myself one "cheat meal" per week if I've followed the plan religiously the whole week. I usually have this on Friday or Saturday night. I used to start planning this…

It's tough. When my husband doesn't like his weight, he just eats one meal per day. His meal is a whole frozen pizza. It makes me ill that he can lose weight eating that much food. When I started dieting, he was always wanting ice cream and stuff. He likes me to be small and healthy but it's almost like he rubs it in my…

I can't lose while exercising. I always hear, "I'll start working out after I lose 5 more pounds." I was a person who made excuses too. I can't fault people for that when I did it. I've always dieted without exercise before. This is better. :)
-
You are so cute! It makes you look younger.

Weight training will take the inches off. I've been doing "Power Pump" and "Boot camp" for the last couple of months. My waist is now smaller than it was before I had kids and my hips are smaller than they've ever been. I love what weights do for my body!
-
Nothing. If I want one of my "sin foods", I either make allowances for it or save it for my once a week "cheat meal". It's the only way I can live. This is a lifestyle, not a diet.
-
I always plan my food in advance. Sometimes I change my dinner if I'm not in the mood for what I planned. It helps me keep my calories balanced throughout the day. I never eat anything until it's logged on MFP.
-
Congrats! You look great. Are you sure you have another 20 to lose? You look really thin to me.
-
You can't maintain a very low calorie diet like that. If you want permanent weight loss and a new, healthy lifestyle, I'd follow the recommendations on MFP. It works!

I'm gonna do it this time! I refuse to gain weight and I refuse to be dependent on my drug for the rest of my life.
