I worry about being judged for shaving, so I'll just trim up, and hide the bra and panties in the rest of my clothes. I think it's because I want to maintain some illusion of privacy. I laughed my butt off at the girl who said she hid the speculum!! I have been SOOO tempted! I make them look for smaller ones, etc. But my…

How long is the job for? Is it a serious relationship? If so, might be good to talk with your co-relationshipee. As to the dog... that's a tough call. Yes, great opportunity for new experiences... Sucks if you're on the road 50 weeks of the year... Just have to try to find balance with all the things you value. Good luck!

Chemical structures AND cleaning up comments to improve clarity in one thread?? And I thought there was no heaven! My geeky little soul is singing right now. Great points on sugars, and thanks for the clarification on HFCS.

I was hardcore into WoW, til I met my bf a year and a half ago, now playing Skyrim mainly, some Fallout New Vegas, and just took over bf's LA Noire. Dabbled in Borderlands a bit. Got away from all the monthly charge games, as I just don't have time for them now to make it worth it. Still miss WoW sometimes though...…

Ahhhh, Skyrim... so consuming! Love it! I'm a total geek- large collection of books (hardcopy and epub)- mainly fantasy/sword and sorcery stuff-, I have a degree in biochemistry, have been to DragonCon twice (this year will be #3, possibly with costume if I can get creative), and am subject to nerd-rage when science isn't…

I like the Silver Hills Squirrelly bread. It's dense enough to keep me satisfied longer than white bread, and tastes great. My bf calls it hippie bread and maintains it's made from twigs and bark, but he just doesn't know what he's missing! Copied some stuff from the website... Our non-GMO vegan ingredients: Organic whole…

In paperback- - Heartless - Gail Carriger - Mistborn- Brandon Sanderson - Dark Moon Defender- Sharon Shinn On Kobo (bf bought it for me last Christmas, I'm a book lover-smell, feel, etc- but am liking it a lot for portability. Still buy my standbys in hardcopy) - Dresden Files- Fool Moon- Jim Butcher - The soul Mirror-…

Just go for a walk. Make it a short one to start. If he's a hand-holding type, that'll slow him down. And if he walks faster, that just encourages you to walk a bit faster to keep up. I have the same situation with my bf, he walks a lot faster. But we hold hands, and it pushes me to speed up and challenge myself. And then…

I just made some on the weekend! :) Mmmm, tasty!

yes, i personally love the gapping waist look. I have a smaller waist, and big through hips and thighs. To fit the hips and thighs, pants are generally wayyyyy too big in the waist. I was so glad when lower rise pants came in to fashion, was easier to fit then! And if i do skirts, they tend to make my hips look super…

Either an Egg McMuffin, coffee and advil, or chocolate milk or a fudgsicle. Odd, but it just calms everything down.

It's either the bag of snap peas and baby carrots or the three hole punch... I can see the potential in that one. THWACK!!

This made me laugh so much, I am the same way! I will have to try out a dance dvd and try to avoid hunters on safari...

I started at 245ish, and down to just over 220 now... I lost some, then tried some different things, got stalled, so giving myself another kick in the butt to jumpstart my journey this year. I want to get down to at least 140, so I still have a fair ways to go. Good luck, and yes, there are girls over 200 out here!! Best…

Still have 80-90 lbs to go... could always use some more support and accountability! Add me if you'd like :)

I'm getting him Battlefield 3, and have a bunch of odds and ends that he'll find useful (a stylus to text better on his new touch screen phone, accessories for his hobbies) and a couple little fun things (Audobon mallard duckling toy that quacks- he loves ducks). I was hoping to get him a reflex sight, but the one he…

He actually has an autoimmune disease that is attacking his kidneys. He had been on prednisone for years at the time of the video. He was even on Tyra and The Doctors because of all the comments about his appearance, which is due to the steroids he has to take to treat the disease.

I've been in "prepare to hibernate" mode for a couple of weeks now, I just want to build up my blubber layer and go curl up in my blankets and sleep for a couple of months. Just shaking off the lethargy in the last couple of days. A couple of inspirational messages and events, and I'm back into it. I must say, those cool…

Yes, they're on sale at Canadian Tire again this week for 10$. I picked one up a couple months ago when they were on sale. Works great!

most people I've seen post on here have not been too worried about going over on protein. As long as you're not hugely exceeding your levels, it shouldn't be too much of an issue. I know i'm constantly over on protein. If you're having trouble meeting your calorie goals, could add some olive oil, nuts or nut butters (good…

I used to stop at a couple fast food places, get a burger and drink at one, fries and/or side and another burger at another, then go home and gorge. I would also get half a dozen Krispy Kremes and eat them in a day and a half. I think i was just really unhappy with my life, so I would drown that out in happy foodness. I…

I've always done it in the microwave, but never found it to be wet or watery... Now I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Hmm. Otherwise, I like it with some pasta sauce and a sprinkle of fresh grated parmesan. Totally cures my pasta cravings.

.. and, if you're doing peanut butter already- get the natural stuff with no added sugar, and - i know this sounds weird, but it's awesome- salt and pepper it. Makes it savoury, and is very tasty, especially if you have toasted the bagel and the PB gets a bit melty.

I make an egg sandwich. Pull out a frozen english muffin (extra crisp), toss it in the microwave and speed defrost for 25-30 seconds, then cut it and toss it in the toaster oven. As that toasts, I spray a small cup or tupperware with olive oil, toss in a shake of no salt seasoning, add an egg, and a couple grinds of salt…

Tattoos that close to my eyes would not be my first choice. And I'd be paranoid about it not being even, or crooked or whatever.

I haven't seen the SNL skit, but I did see a South Park episode... Waaaay off colour, but hilarious! Can't remember the title, but Stan's dad gets obsessed with the Food network. LMAO!!!

you can try a bit of honey, agave nectar, or other sweetener if it's too sour. I usually do half a cup of yogurt, 1/3-1/2 cup fruit, and a teaspoon of honey. Makes for a nice snack. Or put it in smoothies with some frozen fruit, bit of milk or almond milk, and a bit of sweetening if desired.
