Measure out one serving, have them, work it into your calories for the day and move on. The 100% elimination of certain foods doesn't work for me. I have to be able to enjoy a little bit of what I love here and there.

There are some weeks that darn scale just won't move. I am having one of those, and I know if will just take more time. Glad it finally started moving for you again, but don't be discouraged about the small ups and downs. Keep logging and exercising, and it will balance out in the end.

I recently restarted, too. I have lost and gained and lost again. If I stop working out, I start gaining. Well, I stopped working out over the summer, and I am just now getting back into the regular routine. Here's hoping we can stick with it this time. :)

Hi. I am restarting, too. However, I plan to do it in moderation this time. I had to step away from my weight loss journey for a bit to recover. I lost 50 pounds in the timeframe you are thinking about trying with just diet and exercise, but my hair started falling out! I understand now losing too much too quickly can be…

That's good news!

When I exercise without logging, I find myself saying, "I can have this because I worked out today." I undid about half of my weight loss this way and now find myself needing to lose 25 pounds again. I'll be logging again, even though I HATE IT.

I feel better when I am eating better and exercising. My clothes fit better, too. That is what will motivate me today. Maybe tomorrow it will be something else.

Honestly, I totally struggle with this, too. My schedule is awesome when the kids are in school. When they are off school in the winter, I work out when my husband can watch them (which is maybe 1-2 times a week). When they are off school in the summer, I walk the neighborhood while they ride scooters alongside me (makes…

Your workout sounds like it is on track. I've had success with a treadmill workout and 1500 calorie diet. I started at 245 in early August, and am at 198 now. I workout 5-6 times a week for about 65 minutes. Give it some time logging and see if you start to see the scale move. I found that before logging I was eating…

You are welcome to add me, too. I am a SAHM, and I log in regularly and comment. It's hard to be around food all day. :)

I have lost over 40, and I didn't see a difference in myself until a photo where I could see my clothes didn't fit properly. Now that I have bought clothing that is the proper size, I see it. Big clothes make you look bigger than you are. People were also very hesitant to say anything to me about the weight loss, but the…

Hi! I'm sending you a request. My first day here (in August) I was just over 240 and had only lost a few pounds dieting on my own. I'm under 200 now, have a regular workout routine in our home gym, and I feel so much better! I still have quite a way to go to my goal, so let's lose together!
-
Hi, there! You can add me. I've been here since August, and it has totally helped me get some weight off!

I have the same experience. Exercise has been the thing that made the difference. I make it a priority, and it does change the way I look at what I eat. For example, when hubs makes waffles Sunday morning, all I can think is, "Ugh, how do I work out after eating that?!?"

You can turn it around one step at a time. Even today, I had a bad day and cheated with fro-yo, but I went for 2 walks with my kids that ate up a few of those calories. The entire journey can't happen overnight, and I'm sure we'll all have ups and downs. Just don't get so down you give up. :)

Hi. I'm new. I've been here just a couple weeks. I've lost 4 pounds tracking on here, and had lost 6 on my own before that. I need to lose about 50 pounds. I walk on the treadmill every day after I drop my kids at school. I am watching what I eat, but I had dropped too many calories, so I hit a wall last week. I am upping…

Hi! I sent you a message, but we are at about the same place, it seems, so maybe we can help each other out. I need friends to stay motivated after a tough week.
