I'm in. I've tried it in the past, but always get bored. Hopefully this time I can stick out the entire 30 days!

I agree that you should just go at your own pace. I cannot do all the exercises exactly as they are either. I just use her routine as a guide and really work up a sweat. As long as you're trying and moving, I think its a worthwhile workout. You'll also notice that if you stick with it, it'll get easier and you'll really…

You can add me. I'm 27. 5'1" and would like to lose about 30 more pounds.

Volunteering is a great idea. Might even lead to a job that you hadn't known about, or isn't posted to the public. Another thing you could do is a major cleaning/purging of your house. Look for items that you don't use and try to sell them through craigslist, amazon, ebay, or a thrift shop. Cleaning will keep you busy and…

Most difficult part is getting to the gym to work out, especially in the winter. In the summer I love going out for walks with my dog, but staring at a wall at the gym is not my idea of a good time....

Any time I start trying to eat better and exercise more, I always gain a couple pounds first. I can't explain it, but I know that if I stick with it, the weight eventually comes off. Give it some more time before you start worrying or stop trying. Good Luck!

I use the pre-programmed weight loss setting where the machine automatically goes between a high resistance and angle and a low resistance and angle. I try to move faster when the resistance is high and give myself a little bit of a break when resistance is low. I also switch between running forward and running backwards…

Since all my friends live at least 30 minutes away its really hard to work out together. I used to love walking with my friends when I lived closer. Now I walk my dog alone or use the elliptical at the gym while reading a book. I do think it would be much more motivating to have a friend to keep me accountable, and keep me…

Looks like I'm the oddball. I work 2nd shift so I go to bed at 1 or 2 am. Up by 10 or 11am.

September 8, 2012!! Already got a dress and ordered it a size too small. Talk about motivation!! 20lbs down since last March. Lets make it another 15 by September!!

Its from the Dr Oz show. Packed with lots of fiber, lots of vitamins and low calorie Dr Oz claims it give you a good jump start to the day and can help with weight loss. Here is the recipe: DR OZ’S GREEN DRINK 2 cups spinach 2 cups cucumber 1 head of celery 1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root 1 bunch parsley 2 apples Juice of…

Completely agree. Why add the extra stress of worrying about losing over the holidays. Enjoy a little bit of indulgence, but also not go overboard! I'm happy to see that so many of you are feeling the same way.

Awesome NSV! Always feels good when you can fit into clothes you never imagined wearing!

Everyone has to start somewhere! I'll be your friend. We can do this journey together. You've already undertaken the hardest step by joining and committing to change! Congrats!

Research shows it takes 10-14 days for the effects to start.

I either go to bed, so I forget about eating or take a long hot shower, go for a walk /to the gym. Depression is a difficult battle. Your will power needs to be stronger than the disease.

It was in the natural foods section of the grocery store. Bulk packaging with just a store label. Maybe i'll have to try one of the name brand kinds and see if that is any better!

The only morning classes they have at my gym are for the elderly. They sit in chairs and stomp their feet, wave their arms, etc. All the high energy classes are at night when I'm at work. My usual routine is running on the elliptical until my feet fall asleep (usually 20-30 minutes, then sometimes the exercise bike for…

I feel just as frustrated as you often. Especially when I try to listen to all the "experts." My motto: Everything in moderation, including exercise. I've lost 20lbs and haven't cut anything out of my diet, and haven't gone on any crazy exercise program. I just try to pick "healthier" options (like a salad over a…

I got bored too, so I just use 30DS as a supplement to other activities such as walking my dog. I also switch up which level of 30DS I do each day so I don't have to do the exact same thing each time.

When I get that way I talk myself into going for a short walk. Often that short walk then turns into a longer walk, and gives me more motivation/energy afterwards. Get the kids involved too. Take them to the park so they can play while you walk around the playground, or take them for a walk with you.

Depends on what type of birth control pill you are on, but for most the package insert tells you to take 2 the next day. It also gives detailed explanations what to do if you miss more than one day. Either follow the package instructions or call your doctor. If there is a planned parenting center in your town you can call…

You look amazing! Way to go!!!

Don't know why your calories burned are going down, and can't compare because I do not have a HRM, but I do know there are lots of moves in level 2 that I was unable to do. The plank moves are too hard on my wrists/elbows/shoulders that I modified most all of them. I eventually just skipped through level 2 and went to…

Height 5'1" At weight 140 I wore size 10-12

Great Day!!! Enjoy your new smaller clothes!

Just did level 3 for the first time tonight. Loving it! (but I'm sure I'll be bored with that too before long...)
-
Good for you!! I love those small unexpected comments!

Thanks for the tips! I always wear workout pants when I workout, but maybe the shorts underneath will help. I'll also have to give the body glide or deodorant a try.

it is annoying, so after I watch it the first time and know the routine, I turn the volume down on the video and turn it up on my stereo, so I don't have to pay as much attention, but can still follow the routines.
