The ketogenic diet doesn't mess up with your hormones. It actually helps balance them. Besides, you can eat a lot of different things, not only bacon and eggs. Let me know if you want more options. I know great sources for recipes. I live in Illinois too. PM me if you'd like. Cheers!

That's doable. How's the diet going? Ketogenic was the only thing that helped me lose fat and keep muscle mass. I hope it goes well for you too :)

Cool! Are you also exercising?

Have you tried a high fat, low carb and moderate protein diet?

More weight training, less carbs and more fat. Also, your daily calories seem super low and the nutrients are not there... Read about low card high fat diet. That should help.

Take vitamin C with iron containing foods, ex. kale and orange together. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. B12 can be obtained by consuming animal products, specially organ meats.

I was plant-based for 4 years. After a while I tried a fruitarian diet and gained weight. Now I'm trying low carb, high protein, dairy free diet. I noticed that the cravings (for sweets and bread) are a lot less intense, so I want to see where this is going to take me. Please add me and let's share ideas and experiences!…
