I've seen a friend of mine do extremely well with a ketogenic diet. I'm starting my low carb diet today! Any comments?

    Many have success, many do not. Anything is worth trying so you can find out what exactly your body needs, so good luck!

    If you find it too hard to stick to, try modifying it and just eat reduced carb instead of low carb (reduced carb is eating closer to 30-40% of your calories as carbs). There is no one right way to eat for weight loss, there is only the best way for YOU to eat and it may take some trial and error to discover what that is.

    It was the only diet that worked for me for a few reasons: I have no cravings; my skin cleared; mental focus; lots of energy; fewer meals a day (bulletproff coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner).
