It does matter, your macro ratio affects your body composition. if u want a lean body composition, strive for a hi protein/mod carb ratio.

it's awkward, but u have to accept the fact that there are people in better shape than u and u shouldn't feel angry or inferior. It's a mind thing. Tell yourself u r going to look like that in 6 months.

I'm 2 pounds heavier since I weighed myself last week. I wonder if I gained muscle or it's just some temporary water weight.

i swear,,, i was eating like 250-300g of carbs per day for a month because of this book I read and my love handles swelled. So, I cut back to around 120-130g and my love handles disappeared and I lost a good amount of weight.

try a hi protein, moderate carbs diet instead of a hi protein, low carb diet. I eat about 130g of carbs per day. That's seems to be low enough to make your body burn fat and hi enough for you not to hit the wall. It seems to be working out decently for me.

I learned that u can eat anything. The keyword is 'moderation'. There r times where I go to reno for a whole weekend and I'm off the diet because i'm pigging out at the buffet and whatever else restaurants are around. I don't even do any extra cardio exercise to burn off the cals. When I get home I just return to my diet…

I just read a book regarding a new weightlifting method, From what I understand, 1 set is all you need. When trying to induce muscle growth, intensity is what causes it. Not duration. It even claims that all you need to do is 1 set of 1 repitition with a 1-6 second hold while contracting your muscle.

People should start to say 'I trying to lose fat' rather than saying 'I am trying to lose weight'. You can lose weight just sweating. You can lose weight by losing lean mass. Hell, I lose a few pounds everytime I use the toilet.

I prefer a weight that allows me to do at least 15-20 reps versus a heavier weight with only 10-12 reps. Selecting a weight that allows me to do 5 more reps will increase the time my muscle is under tension. Not to mention, a weight that is so heavy where you can only do 7-8 reps is usually a weight that you cannot lift in…
