The class I was taking was great. Really good workout. Lots of running and jumping and resistance. I had to give it up because the jumping was causing too much pain.

That's what stops me as well. I see every treat as minutes at the gym. Most things are really not worth it

Its not impossible but its not easy either. There is always biscuits and cakes where I work but I tell myself that its easier to resist them than to be fat. OR have one and log it

I'm not surprised. Its hard to concentrate on anything when you're in pain. Lets hope you can get it sorted soon. Fingers crossed here too xx

Hubby is right in a way but when you're sat at home with nothing else to think about, its so blooming frustrating. Its good to be here if only to get things off your chest and get some ideas for when you are a bit better. Have you got any hobbies like knitting or cross stitching? When I was laid up with sciatica, I found…

This Mother Nature chick has her work cut out

Oh my goodness. I feel for you I really do. It is exhausting and utterly soul destroying to be in constant pain. I'm so sorry the operation didn't fix the problem. But hey, well done on the weight loss so far. That's amazing. :flowerforyou: I'm afraid I don't have any practical advice. I don't know how to stay away from…

 Cheryl, first of all I must congratulate you on starting this journey. I was where you are 3 years ago. I could barely walk. I couldn't even tie my own shoelaces. It was like a living death. I have since lost 71lbs and my life has changed beyond recognition. The best thing is that you see and feel the benefits all…

Hello :flowerforyou: I'm Debbie. 42 years young  Have been married for 10 years to my lovely hubby, Steve. Have one cat and no intention of having any kids. I think I've always been eating for 2 even though I've never been pregnant  I said that once to my slimming club leader when she demanded to know why I…

The evil demons are built into the mechanism.

Yep totally. Last week I felt so much lighter. My tummy felt like it was a bit smaller. My clothes were feeling good. Friday I got loads of compliments. Stepped on the scale feeling confident only for it to say I had gained a pound. Scales are evil. They know when you're feeling good and bring you down on purpose. FACT!…

When you're fat is your belly button bigger? :noway:

You could probably beat him in a fight. :glasses:

Every Friday morning but I do take sneaky peeks a couple of times in the week. Not that it makes any difference. I was on my way to losing a pound when I took a peek on Thursday morning by the time Friday morning came I'd gained a pound. I'm beginning to think that you can't trust the scales no matter how often you weigh.
