  That really made me laugh. I'm looking at my calculator here on my desk and really want to strap it to my head now

I feel like I'm being short changed now lol. I could easily go for an hour. Hate having to stop after 45 mins

Every scale will weigh you different. I have gained 2kgs just walking from one room at the doctors office to another.

My husband. He thinks he's eating healthy if he has a pizza. He eats nothing but rubbish and only drinks beer or full fat coke. I have another friend who is thin as a rake. Eats noting but junk 24/7 and huge amounts of it too. Never does any exercise *pfft*

I done the pass plus. It was a waste of money in my opinion. The motorway driving was good and is needed. However, I didn't get to drive in adverse conditions because it was June and there wasn't any. And it didn't lower my insurance.

First of all well done for starting this journey in the first place. That's always the hardest thing to do. I also think you are setting your calories too low. I weigh 222lbs and MFP have mine set at 1600. I'm losing pretty much every week. I also have a huge appetite. Its obscene the amount I can put away in one sitting…

Words cannot even begin to describe how incredible you are. You are such an inspiration. I am in awe of you. Truly. I want to keep this thread and just show it to everyone who tells me they would love to lose weight but its too hard. In one year you have changed your whole life. Amazing. Just simply amazing. Thank you so…

I'm married and don't have any pictures of me and hubby together or otherwise. Mainly because we don't do anything together and he doesn't go on Facebook. He has an account but I know more about it than he does. My husband is not a huge part of my life he's just one part of it. Its not healthy to make one person that…

You look like a completely different person. Amazing! Your beautiful smile is radient and says "look what I did" You have done so well. Congratulations :flowerforyou:

Thank you. That's a very interesting read and just what I needed right now :flowerforyou:

Wow they are fabulous pictures and you look amazing. Congratulations xxx

I used to have one cheat day a week but because I have no self control, I would be undoing a whole weeks work in one day. Now I have a TREAT meal every Friday. Sometimes I save cals for it but most of the time, I work it off the next day. Have lost 12lbs since Christmas doing this
-
Not at all. My hubby actually fishes things out of the bin for me so I can read the labels. He does most of the cooking too so he calls me when its time to start weighing stuff. Even if it did get on his nerves, I'd still do it.
-
You look fantastic. What an amazing achievement. Many many congrats xxx

They done a program about it the other day. The researcher ate 4 eggs a day for 2 weeks and her bad cholesterol hadn't changed at all. It was still in a healthy limit. I've always eaten 2 eggs most days and my cholesterol is fine.

That's fantastic. Well done. I have 5 lbs to go before I'm out of the 230's. I can't wait

And then you get celebs like Pauline Quirk advertising Lighter Life by saying she is "doing away with fad diets like counting calories and points" Huh? :noway:
-
Yep sounds totally right. That's exactly the same as mine. I go to the gym 4 times a week to earn more. Good luck xx
-
That's lovely. Congratulations x
-
Totally agree. I had 3 done in my early twenties and I hate them so much. I wish I could get them removed.
-
You are not the only one to do that and you won't be the last trust me. I spent all last year doing exactly the same thing. Christmas saw me undo a whole years work!! Its taken till this week to lose the Christmas weight and I ask myself is it worth it? Of course, the answer is no. I say that I won't do it again but I bet…

I so want that to be a true story

Nappy rash cream and baby powder.

You say its been ALMOST 2 weeks. Just my opinion but that isn't a plateau. When you've been losing well for a while it does bottom out. Even if it was a whole 2 weeks it would still be too early to start panicking. Keep a careful track of what you're eating. If you think there is something that could be cut back on do so.…

I have a treat meal every week. Because I am a binge eater, its a huge meal. Then I have to exercise really hard during the week to make sure I work it off. So my exercise cals are used to "pay back" Friday's excess. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Of course, the answer is really to stop binge eating but I'm 42…

Hello my name is Debbie. I'm 42 and live just outside London, UK. I have lost 70lbs so far and still have a long way to go. Its great meeting so many fabulous people who are on the same journey as me :drinker:
-
LMAO good luck with that. Please let me know how you get on. I'm too scared to try it
