I really envy people like you. I would love to be like that. However, I've always hated exercise and I still do. I work out (various activities) 5 times a week. I hate every second. The only thing I like doing is the water aerobics but I'd sooner not do it. Everyone told me that one day I would love the exercise. 3 years…

Me. I wouldn't know what to eat if I couldn't have carbs.

There's a free step? I'll have a look for that. I love my Wii fit plus. It got me started out on my fitness journey and I still go back to it when I don't want to make the journey to the gym.

My husband is a sofa surfer and eats crap all the time. I go to the gym 5 times a week and eat healthy food all the time. I have a weight problem, he doesn't. I sometimes get jealous of his lifestyle. We've been married 10 years and make it work. I don't know if I could put up with it if I only just met him. Will have to…

2 boiled eggs on granary toast. Keeps me going till lunchtime.

LOL that's fabulous. Well done. I love it when people don't get away with being rude. Go get 'em girl :drinker:

There is a down side to this though. When I was oozing into the next seat no-one wanted to sit next to me and I had loads of extra room. Now I always get someone sitting next to me :grumble:

I used to feel embarresed (sp?) about asking for the extension belt. Then I thought "I'm not apologising for who I am. Its not my fault they don't make the belts big enough" So next time I went on the plane, I smiled broadly and asked for the fat belt in a confident voice. It made me feel better, it made the stewardess…

Sugar free mints and black coffee help me. They are such strong tastes you don't want to eat anything else. I've quit twice now and never gained weight because of it. Good luck and well done :flowerforyou:
-
That is a brilliant NSV!! Well done you :flowerforyou: I remember the first time I didn't need to use an extension belt. Its a great feeling and makes all the hard work worthwhile
-
Yes I made the same mistake as well. I used to eat 2 packs at once :noway: (its no surprise why I got this big  ) Pasta and sauce isn't too bad. Calories on the packet don't tell you how much prepared either though

Try sugar free mints or black coffee. That worked for me. I've given up twice now and have never gained weight because of that. Good luck and well done :flowerforyou:
-
Really? After all that work to get to look like that? really? :noway: My one ambition in life is that one day a guy will love me just for my body and not my mind
-
Fantastic. well done :drinker:

We've all been there. :embarassed: My idea of a small portion could feed an army for a week  A typical chinese take out would consist of Pork balls (yep whole portion just for me), rice (I may share that with hubby), a whole chow mein, a whole main dish and prawn crackers! :embarassed: When my husband cooks a roast…

How about eating like a vegetarian? If you don't like fish and are fussy about meat, I don't see the point of eating stuff you don't like. That's just daft. :flowerforyou:
-
sweetcorn? I always have some of that

Please stop. I've only just been able to convince myself that I don't want one and now my mouse is hovering over Amazon.com. Aaaaarrrgh
-
I would love to get a HRM but they're so expensive. I keep having to ask myself if I want to know that badly
-
Oh so you can use those ones then? I enter the totals in the reps/weights bit and the calories don't show. I was thinking that maybe you can't use those calories because MFP only announces that calories burned from cardio. Seems I've been short changing myself. Oh well, that can't be a bad thing  I'll start adding…

Brillant. Thank you. Will be downloading in the lunch break

That's fabulous. Well done. It always amazes me how we get so much fitter so quickly without even realising it. I remember struggling to get the elliptical to even move on level 3 and now I'm powering through on level 8. ts certainly worth sticking with. Keep it up

Its just my opinion but I can't see how the time should influence it. If were having a meal and then going straight to bed, you could argue that you're not giving your body a chance to burn it off. But as you're going to bed 3 hours later, that would make it the same as if you had your dinner at 7 and went to bed at 10. As…

Yes my cheat day was/is/always sets me back. Me and hubby always like to have a treat meal every Friday. One day we decided to count up how many calories were in the meal I was just about to eat. We stopped counting when we reached 2,500 (yes! seriously!) It then dawned on me that all my hard work at the gym for the week…

Avoid anything deep fried, in batter and sweet and sour sauce. Things like back bean sauce and stuff in gravy would be better. Or Have what you want but not so much of it. A little of what you fancy does you good  Have a good time

What a fabulous idea. I love them too. I might have to copy you :drinker:
-
 because it's denser? I don't know. Its just a guess. I just made it up  but 200 cals is still to much for an egg
-
MelissaB I love your ticker. One of my favourite pictures of The Beatles :drinker:

I totally agree. I have blamed plateau's for my weight stagnasis but it was really, an extra few calories here and there and alcohol fuelled weekends away. I always came off my plateau when these were taken out of the equation. Coincidence? I think not

Yep have just checked my entry for eggs and I have: Eggs (hard boiled - whole egg) 155 for 2
