Listen to your body. It will tell you how much is too much. I'm 51 and 212. I stay steady at about 125, which is my fat burning rate, but will spike it up to 150 to work towards getting fitter.

I was on the stair climber (the escalator to nowhere) and tripped on a step. I almost went flying off of it when I misjudged the last step getting off of it.

I hear ya! I can get a smaller size jeans on but I can't zip them up because my stomach is still to big. My trainer says that usually the first area that you put it on is the last area to lose it. It's very frustrating but keep doing what you're doing and it will come off. At least that's what I keep telling myself. LOL

Invest in a heart rate monitor. It will give you a more accurate reading.

Actually this is correct if you want to focus on muscle definition. However, if you just want to get the darn weight off, definitely go CICO. Personally I eat whatever I want and stay within my calories. Once the weight is off, I will focus on muscle definition.

Honestly, I eat whatever I want as long as it fits within my calories for the day. Once I hit my calorie total, I stop eating. It's calories in vs calories out.

How tall are you? I can figure out your BMR to give you an idea of how many calories you are burning at a sedentary rate. That would be the lowest amount of calories you burn without doing much of anything. From that rate, you can figure out how many calories you need to burn in order to figure out your deficit. For…
