I'm hope this doesn't sound dumb, but are there any foods that get burned before getting stored into fat? How long does it take before a calorie that isn't burned gets stored into fat? I know that calories have to burned off through exercise, but obviously I can't workout after every meal.

I hope this makes sense.

Your body burns cals consistently if you are alive depending on your stats it can burn more or less. Exercise is just a bonus. Your body needs food to function. I don't know enough about biology to be more in depth about the process of excess cals get turned to fat but, no one food gets turned to fat more than another until you are eating over maintenance.

You don't have to burn the calories immediately. You don't have to try to prevent any calories from ever being stored as fat. It's a continuous process, with energy (calories) going into storage (fat, glyclogen) and being taken out of storage, as needed. Just worry about the net energy balance (calories-in versus calories-out) over the full day, or even the full week. And as ForeverSunshine said, it doesn't really matter for fat storage which foods you're eating. It's just about the total calories in the food, versus the total calories your body uses (more of which are likely going to just normal body functions and daily activity than to exercise burns, unless you are working out intensively for at least several hours every day).

Thanks for clearing up my confusion. I guess I was taking something simple and making it complicated!
