  • Great advice from everyone Two things to ad. One your in - laws are probably not in town a lot so if you do over eat a little don't worry. Two this is lunch you can always make a very small supper to compensate. Instead of your normal just make a good salad or veggies.

  • I agree with what people are saying. If you are logging your workouts in MFP than the system is tracking how much your eating with exercise. If not start logging it, this might help you.   • So far I have been both donating and buying clothes from Goodwill. That way I don't have to pay alot for clothes (pants here are about 4-8) and I get a tax deduction next year. Also have a few friends that are bigger then me and they have been letting me buy there old clothes.

  • Here are some quick easy foods that I like in the AM, Life Cereal Bars, Nutrigrain Eggo, Fruit smoothie (1 cup v8 fusion to 1 cup frozen fruit), hard boiled eggs. Cinnamon burst cheerios (dry)
  • I measure every time I server food. The packages are very probematic. The can say there is 4 servings of 1/2 Cup and one time it will be true . The next time 3 1/2 cups servings. Just keep measuring and you should be ok.

  • Make sure your getting plenty of water bc that is when I feel hungry. I also make sure to have some fruit ready when I know I am going to crave... Usually around 10 and 3 so I do not grab the junk food in our office.

  • Sorry to hear about your gallbladder and hope you feel better soon. I do have one piece of advice that a nurse told me after my surgery that I never knew . You will be tired for several weeks because of the anesthesia.
  • If I am not hungry... I will usually pack a v8 fusion and a cereal bar. ..I usually eat them if i get hungry but if I don't I make sure to at least drink my juice
  • I just started using ground turkey for food and I like it. It doesn't taste like hamburger it is different. But I have been using it for foods I used to put hamburger in. Hubby said yesterday it was really good as meatloaf.
