  • Well done! Its a great feeling isnt it? Im now regularly running 2-3 miles a day after completing the C25K. I couldnt even manage 30 seconds when I 1st started! Have you got the running bug yet?....lol

  • I had my gallbladder removed by keyhole surgery 5 years ago. Recovery and relief from symptoms was within a week. I was told I should be able to eat anything and I certainly did! Have had no problems since.

Not fast I know but im going to stick at the same pace for now and just try to increase my mileage each week as you suggest.   • I used the Zen Labs C25k free app on Iphone. I think most follow the same method though.
  • Thanks for the advice. So carry on at the speed im doing and just run for longer each time? Or increase it every week? I will read up on it too as someone else mentioned about the 10% increments but I didnt quite grasp what she was trying to explain to me.

  • Completed my 1st 5K today! Took me 38 minutes so will have to work on speed over time but Im so happy to have completed it without stopping.... 1/3 - 2.5 miles 2/3 - 2.1 miles 3/3 - 2.0 miles 4/3 - 3.1 miles
  • W8D2 completed today. Just one more day left! Had to run 28 minutes today but kept going as I felt good and wanted to see If I could reach 5k before needing to stop. And I DID!! Took me 38 minutes in total to run 5K but I did it....feeling happy. Will work on my speed over the next few months.
