Welcome to My Fitness Pal. I started using this to track calories and exercise in 2011. It really helps.

I have issues sometimes with the website. I sync with the app on my cellphone. It works correctly.

I was taking 1000 iu of D3 but it was still low so he increased it to 2000iu. I had read about symptoms of low D and I do have some like weight gain, hbp, etc, but Dr hasn't really mentioned what the symptoms are, just that it was low.

Thank you so much.

Welcome back to My Fitness Pal. Congrats on the new baby. I too had thyroid surgery after losing over 50 pounds. I have gained some of the weight back, but I am slowly losing it again. I find if I walk at least 10,000 steps per day, that seems to help. It is a lot of walking though. There are groups on My Fitness Pal that…

I don't have the Fitbit Flex, but I do have a Fitbit One and it is worth every penny to me. It syncs with Everymove and Earndit apps. It helps keep you motivated as well. They make a leash (on Amazon I think) for the Fitbit One to keep it attached to your clothes.

Welcome back. I also lost weight on MFP, but gained some of it back. But I hopefully can do it again. I have Joined challenges on Everymove and am on Earndit as well as have a Fitbit which helps. Feel free to add me also.

Welcome to My Fitness Pal. I am 60. I try to walk every day (have a Fitbit) and also ride my bike. I don't drink anything with aspartame. I drink Diet Rite (it has splenda in it and also does not have sodium or caffeine). When I wasn't on the Atkins Diet, I would drink lemon water) I have a long way to go to get to the…

Welcome to the 60 years and over group. I am less than one month short of logging on 1,000 days in a row. I try to be supportive. You can add me if you like.

Everything turns out fine when dr checks me, but the top front of my legs really hurt. Maybe if I took more calcium.

Only log food on MFP (they will send info to Fitbit) and Fitbit is for walking, running and jogging and it automatically gets picked up by fitbit (although you can put that you walked, etc from this time to this time). You don't need to put exercise on MFP as Fitbit automatically sends an adjustment to MFP which you can…

Congratulations on the weight loss. Keep up the good work.

Welcome to the Hypothyroidism and Hyperthyroidism Group. I too have had a TT (last August). I also keep losing the same few pounds, but at least I am not gaining. I also have been walking every day (whether I feel like it or not). I think it is pretty much trial and error on what works and what doesn't after you have had a…

I am also trying to lose weight with hypothyroidism. I had my thyroid removed last year. It is hard, but it can be done. There is a group you can join called hypothyroidism-and-hyperthyroidism.

Here is a good recipe site with low calorie/low fat sweet potato ideas. http://www.yummly.com/recipes/low-fat-low-calorie-sweet-potatoes  I usually cook them in microwave then sprinkle splenda brown sugar mix and cinnamon on top.
