Astro, google northwestern university pcos study. This is the only credible study I have found that you can participate in. I didn't qualify in my state bc I do not have high levels of male hormones. They do a bunch of diff studies some include children(if you have a daughter) to see if it is genetic. Out of my family I am…

Hysterectomy shouldn't be an option to "cure" pcos. I am truly thankful I finally have a doc who is willing to listen to what I want instead of telling me bogus ways to help my symptoms. I have however for the pastfew days been getting cramping. Hoping I actually start and its not just a false alarm! Does anyone else have…

I am not trying to "cure" or quick fix my pcos. This is the best choice for me as I am fixed I cannot attempt to have more children and as I do not want to relie on provera for a cycle.

I had the same issue. I weighed 220 at 5'2. I never took it seriously until feb this yr when I realized I need to better myself so I'm around to watch my daughter grow up. Unless you're serious about sticking to a diet and doing the work needed to lose weight you will never be ready. Yes at first its extremely hard eating…

[/quote] Also, ifiwasurvampire, are you getting a hysterectomy to remove your cyst-riddled ovaries in attempt to "cure" PCOS, or is it for other reasons? I know that's a personal question, but if you're trying to cure PCOS by getting rid of your ovaries, you may want to do some more research. Cystic ovaries are a SYMPTOM…

I never had the clot issue but my toms were extremely painful. I would miss school and such bc I would be doubled over constantly. They were extrememly heavy at first and would last anywheres up to 6 months at a given time. The pain felt as if someone was shoving their arm up to their elbow and ripping out my insides.…

Hopefully by the time they hit puberty well have a cure and better understanding of what causes pcos. I went years without knowing what was wrong with me. Went through 3 gynos also. I found out I had pcos when my daughter was 19 months old. Now I'm on a 4th gyno who is amazing and understands what I go through. My last doc…

I'm disapointed. I've lost 21lbs and haven't had a tom yet. Its been 9 months since I've stopped provera and I've had a normal tom. Was hoping weightloss would help so I don't have to go through a partial hysterectomy in june. Blah I'm terrified my daughter will end up with pcos. I hate this damned prison sentence(that's…

Don't have an actual song, but an artist. For some reason since I was little, I pop in a michael jackson cd and it gets me motivated to either clean or workout. Lol. But when my daughters home we workout to lady gaga :) haha

I personally would never get a tatt at a tatt fest bc its an unsterile environment. I also like to make sure my artist has experience and is trained in blood born pathogens.

Pcos, I am fed up with having you in my life. I am sick of you controlling MY life. I am ready for a new life! I am extremely dissatisfied with the excess weight, thinning hair, pre-diabetes and a life long struggle of an irregular menstration. I hate that because of you my only pregnancy resulted in severe preeclampsia…
