  • I eat around 1200-1400 calories in a day, work out for an hour 3 times a week, and have lost 30 lbs since September 2013. I am not starving, I've seen results, and it's working well. It's healthy. When you have lost what you want, you can increase your calorie intake so there is not a deficit and maintain your weight.
  • What a wonderful, positive attitude! Great job!
  • I'd like to join! Age: 27 SW: 188 on 9/7/2013 CW: 159 GW: 135 by July 2014 Excited! Thank you!
  • 20 years-old and you've accomplished that? Amazing. You look beautiful! Rock that bikini!
  • Wow! Great job! My goal is the same as yours, 135 lbs. I weighed 188 lbs just after having my second child in July 2013. I am down to 160 lbs, now, and SO excited to keep going! You are motivating :)
  • Ah-mazing! Cupcakes? I am going to try those, if not this weekend, then next weekend! On a side note- it was incredibly difficult to find quinoa in my rural town, but by golly, I found it. So expensive here!! Does anyone purchase quinoa online for a better deal?? Thanks everyone for all the input. I am beyond excited to…
  • I can't WAIT to try these recipes, both sound so good!
  • Once you've made up your mind, there's no going back! Congrats on deciding :) I'm a mother of two, as well, and work full time. I don't always have *perfect* days, sometimes I go over my calories, and sometimes I skip the gym, but it's still been a lifestyle change and has been a blessing.
  • You are all fantastic. It was just nice to get that off my chest, especially with people who understand. I agree, some of the people who have given me a "hard" time are coming from a place of love, and I can respect that. I will just let it roll off my shoulders, because this mama's not done shedding weight yet! What'll…
  • 2000 calories might seem like a lot when you're trying to lose weight, but TRUST ME, you will. Like previous posters said, you can still eat some of the same things in moderation. For example, going from 5 pops a day to just 1 is a HUGE change! You don't necessarily need to cut that out completely in order to see results.…
  • Me, too! I work full-time and have a 6-month old and almost 8-year old! I DO however splurge on a gym membership; I have found the most success in budgeting for that $75/month to work with a lady who really knows her stuff. That's how I've gotten results, personally, and get up at 4:30 AM 3X a week to work out. Kudos to…
  • Me! :) I'm 27, have two kids, and am also a "foodie" of sorts (always searching recipes on Pinterest, yikes!) I am about 20 lbs into my weight-loss journey, so I'm at that point where I know I NEED to keep going, I can see a difference from when I first started, but am finding that have been in a motivational slump since…
