You guys have got this!!

I use both Noom and mfp, Noom is great if you need help with the psychology of eating and food. Mfp is the numbers that get you there. Welcome and good luck!

I switched to a Garmin Forerunner from a Fitbit, I LOVE IT so much more than my fitbit. it's more reliable, the battery lasts longer, it is more accurate, it charges extremely fast, it has built in running traning plans, and it's app is phenomenal.

Check out BOSH, they're incredible, Forks Over Knives also has some neat recipes.

Skipping weigh-ins is a sign I'm getting off track. If I haven't weighed in three or more days, I need to get myself together because it's a steep slope after that.

You can smile sweetly and ignore them, or you can tell them that their comments are not supportive or helpful. You appreciate their concern, but you'd rather they not make unsupportive or positive comments on your efforts and results.

68 Miles and being my half marathon training
-
Hi there, I was 255 when I started. At my lowest I was 128. I have since had a baby and am at 164 right now. Feel free to add if you're looking for friends who have also lost that much and maintained fairly successfully!
-
Thank you so much for this!! This was very helpful. Right now we use the app "Baby Connect" to log basically everything. I get three pumps in while I am at work, so I can use that to track the volume. I think a lot of losing/maintaining will come down to not eating out as much. The lunch culture in this office is that they…

I don't really need a lactation consultant, I'm not asking for advice on breastfeeding. My daughter and I have that down pretty well ;) She's five months old tomorrow! I'm trying not to put any pressure on it and it's sort of why I haven't been logging, that way I don't feel the pressure for the numbers to "add up," but…

Same, feel free to add :)

/waves; vegan/vegetarian for over ten years. I run regularly -- training for a half marathon, but I am also trying to build, particularly my core and arms.
-
Not literally :P

I think the whole "eat what you want as long as it fits in your calories" tripe is total *kitten*. Yea, you'll lose weight, but you'll still be fatty on the inside and not healthy.
-
Why is it that people who are vegetarian for reasons other than not wanting to contribute to the deaths of animals have to preface it that way. Is it so shameful to be compassionate and not want to contribute to the pain and torture? It's insulting to many of the group who would have the answers you seek. Anyway, eat a…

Hi there, long time vegan. feel free to add me.
