with a waist like that 17 pounds is too much to lose in my opinion

you could focus on what your eating rather than calories eat so your body doesn't starve eat mostly fruits and veggies and lean protein after a while- slowly induce whole grains like quinoa-

well , that sounds healthy as long as you stay away from aspertame and sugar. doing low carb is also detrimental. natural sugars in fruit are essential yesterdy i did the master cleanse with water, lemon and maple syrup and that can help too good luck stay hydrated

hi i have lost 100 pounds or so a few times in my life mostly after i stopped being a top athlete so i would say exercise is very important -eating consciously is iimportant -like not eating pizza or a meat based lasagna -reduction of high fat dairy-a.k.a. cheese - reduction of red meats -increase fruit, vegetable and water

that is not a cleanse , maybe a fast but not a cleanse as diet soda is toxic

it is good to stick with a good habit for long term health but I wouldn't overdo it , solid foods are also important a combination of both once your at or trying to achieve a healthy weight. Remember in smoothies you can also blend in fiber and protein such as chia and hemp seeds, soy milk or yogourt, etc...

People process foods differently but I do think your right For instance I feel better on a high carb low fat and low protein low dairy diet But some people excel on higher protein diets But health is health and by far more important than just a little weight loss
