FANTASTIC JOB!

There is (or was haven't been for awhile) a chocolate bar in St Louis. The majority of their menu is obviously based around chocolate but they also have these gourmet cheese, fruit, and bread trays. HOLY COW! Literally. Must be a divine cow that produces the milk these cheeses are made from. Absolutely amazing with a…

If the specific taste is to your liking great but I don't think it hold any magical powers. The guy who started the trend sells "top notch" products through his own company that are supposedly better than the same stuff you'd buy in any other store. His inspiration was a concoction he tried while on vacation that used yaks…

Cheese. I still eat cheese but no so much on a sandwich or sprinkled on stuff. And sauces or condiments like tartar sauce or tons of ketchup.
-
Fantastic job! Thanks for sharing!

I log everything but mainly because I have such portion distortion and I am really trying to teach my body (and mind) what is enough and what is just too much. You know that clean your plate mentality?! I have never been good with portion control and so I guess I'm trying to retrain myself as to what real fullness is and…

As far as magical muscle gain and weight loss not so much but warm tea (especially the holiday flavored ones) helps me stay on track and gives me a sense of satiety without over indulging. There was a caramel apple one out over the fall and that was glorious with cinnamon and a touch of sugar!

Absolutely agree!

Troutsy, At first I totally cut everything out of the house and basically went cold turkey! I needed to anyway because I could see how my eating habits were falling onto my kids. After some time I have gathered the will power to actually consume ONE serving size of Oreos. There have been a few times that I have had more…

It's brain fog for me. I almost go into a food coma if I consume too much. I can do fruit and a tiny bit of something dessertish from time to time but otherwise I get this blah fuzzy-headed nasty feeling. For lack of a better description, almost sticky feeling. That feeling is enough to deter me from going back to my Oreo…

Vinegar or anything that faintly smells/tastes like vinegar. Just the thought of it :s

The countdown begins for how long this thread will survive before it's shutdown for hijacking. :|

The spider gif is just awful! It's more terrifying than the sugar devil! Skeeved out!

I got to this point where directly after I would eat I would crave like crazy something sweet. It was pretty ridiculous how bad the cravings got and that really added to my over consumption of calories. I could go through Oreos like a champ. Sometimes to the point where I was blindly eating them and before I knew it I had…

I think it also depends on which DVD you get. The boot camp uses speed bursts and resistance bands. Some of her DVDs incorporate squats/lunges and other muscle building exercises, not strictly cardio. If you shorten those bands and kick up the speeds intervals you can really get yourself going. I love Leslie! I agree that…

Thank you for pointing me in a direction! I appreciate it!

2 eggs, coffee, and oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar.

Fantastic job! Keep up the great work girlie!

For me personally, I try to work in my favorites throughout the week. I might have to modify them a little or cut back but I have learned through trial and error that once I get that ball rolling it takes me a hell of a lot to get it to stop. It has also helped because I am not telling myself no on anything in particular…

Like others said, it depends on where in the states. In the Denver area they have tons of classes. Actually thinking of picking one up soon! Seems like fun!

Potatoes, peppers, oranges, zucchini, bananas, tuna, chicken are some top contenders. Keep in mind that if you're working out you're going to purge some salt in your sweat so while you don't want to guzzle salt water your body will get rid of some on its own.
-
Unless you have a health reason to monitor sugars you should be fine. I love love love oranges and have a few a day but according to MFPs numbers I'm a sugar abuser. My other numbers are almost always on point expect sugars.
-
Thank you all for the suggestions! I'll give them a try!!
-
No you can't drink water to counter balance salt but as the others have mentioned, salt is not your enemy. You do lose salt throughout the day through normal body function and if you're working out and sweating you're losing salt too. Again, as others have mentioned as long as you don't have a health issue (and I go as far…

I really really like Hilarys Eat well. There are a few different types but make one with tomato, lettuce, onion, and avocado! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Literally laughed out loud! My mother is a brussel sprout pusher as well!

I use mine daily and I have had to replace the battery in the watch twice and the chest band just once. I've had it for a year.

I am going through the same thing right now. I trying to find a good balance right now. Before, and occasionally still, I would just eat to eat. No real hunger. So at the slightest sense of not being full I would FREAK OUT! I am retraining my brain right now to really know what hunger is. Not starving myself but reminding…

I've heard of this. I think there is one where you add cayenne too?! Anyway, WHY does it work? Because your calorie deficit is insanely high from lack of food. There is no magic in the syrup/lemon combo! Also, back in the day when I was looking for any way OTHER THAN diet and exercise to lose weight, I tried the honey and…

Chin up coconut! Get up, dust yourself off, and get back at it. I have fallen off a few times. Recently we moved and during the move I ate A LOT of junk. I'm back at it now and I'm having to retrain my brain (hardest part). You can do this. Nothing in life is smooth sailing! We'll do great, we'll fall again, we'll get up…
