I'm breastfeeding a 21 month old and adding 500 extra calories because she still nurses so frequently. Eating anything less, and it was affecting my milk supply. It's really just something you're gonna have to kinda figure out through trial and error. I started eating only 250 extra and my milk tanked. Once I increased my…

Played WoW (through Cata) and, of course, Diablo I - III. Lately I've been playing Rift and Path of Exile. Feel free to add.

5'0 and 176 lbs with my first pregnancy. My highest non-pregnancy weight was 144 lbs.

I've always had the same problem. I would lose quickly at first but my body would always want to hold onto that last 10 - 15 lbs while I was still nursing. Here's hoping that this time it will actually come off without me having to wait until my little one weans.

In my opinion, you should probably be eating more. Especially if you're still hungry. We're roughly the same size. I'm 5'0 and 124 lbs with 10 lbs left to lose. I eat 1850 calories a day and I'm losing 1 - 2 lbs a week at this rate. Since you're still exclusively breastfeeding, I would definitely increase your calories to…

This. ^^^ Allowing your little one to nurse at frequently as he likes should also help your supply. Your body could just be adjusting to your little one's needs, now that he's a little older, as well. I honestly don't respond to pumps at all anymore but I can tell when my supply takes a hit because my 20 month old wants to…

I originally only added 250 calories to my food diary since I'm nursing a toddler. But since she's still breastfeeding so frequently, the 250 wasn't enough and my supply started to suffer. If your little one is still nursing exclusively or very frequently, I would start out adding 400 - 500 calories a day and see how it…

Breastfeeding a 20 month old. Feel free to add me.

My weight loss totally stalled once I started running. I think it was just too hard on my poor body. Went back to my stationary bike, threw in a little bit of step aerobics, and bam! the weight started coming off again.

You should allow yourself 500 extra calories a day if you are exclusively breastfeeding. I'm nursing a toddler and still have to add 500 calories or my milk supply suffers. You can add you calories to your food diary by searching for breastfeeding or adding -500 as quick calories. Or you can add the calories to your…

I'm 5'0 looking to get down to 110 - 115 lbs from 144 lbs. Two kids, my youngest is is almost 20 months. Feel free to add me!

I feel ya, hon! My husband is a foot taller than me and almost 70 lbs heaver than I am. We've both lost about the same amount of weight in the same amount of time. Only I've been busting my butt with a low calorie diet and a ton of exercise while he gets 1000 calories extra a day in his "diet" and does exactly zero…

I started at the beginning of Sept. 2013. I've lost 18 lbs so far and the majority of that happened in the first 4 weeks. I lost about 12 lbs pretty quickly. The last 4 weeks or so has been much slower, maybe 1-2 pounds a week. I figured it would slow way down the closer I got to my goal and I've recently readjusted my…

Celiac disease here. I was misdiagnosed with MS for a couple of years before the doctors figured out they pegged me with the wrong autoimmune disease.

I went to the doctor for my yearly checkup only to find out that not only had I NOT lost all my baby weight (duh!) but had actually GAINED 10 extra pounds from my lowest post baby weight. All the while, I was still breastfeeding. I just want to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes again. I can't tell you how tired I am of…

Always eat back your nursing calories. You can add them to your food diary or your exercise diary. You're gonna want to add 500 cal if you're still exclusively nursing or 250-400 cal if they're eating solids too. That being said, I'm nursing a 19 month old and even though she eats a ton of solids, she's still nursing…

^This. I've lost 17 lbs on Depo. I wasn't on any birth control when I gained 10lbs last year.

I'm in the exact same boat! I know it's hard, but hang in there. I've gone from losing about 2 lbs a week to going a full week without a loss. Even after losing 15 pounds in 7 weeks or so, it's a total bummer to not see the scales budge. I'm going to just keep trucking away though, and try not to get discouraged, for the…

You could do 500 for each baby if you wanted and see if you're losing after a week. I think I would start with 750 and see how it went for a few days. I could tell within a couple of days that my milk was lower so I upped my calories and it came right back. My little one still nurses every 2 hours even at night (for…

I hear you! I don't feel like I'm dieting at all. I think I really just needed help with portion control and I needed to curb the eating out of boredom. I actually GAINED 10 pounds over the last year while I was breastfeeding. I think you should just go week to week and tweak it here or there to make sure that you're not…

I would start with 500 extra and go from there. You might need to add even more, maybe 750 total extra for both. Are you adding your breastfeeding calories into your exercise or food diary? You don't ever want to under eat because MFP already creates a deficit of 500 calories a day for weight lost (if you've set it to lose…

Nursing a 19 month old here. My advice, just make sure you add 500 extra calories to the daily baseline that MFP gives you. I started out only adding 250 because I'm not exclusively breastfeeding anymore and my milk supply definitely suffered. Once I went up to 500, my milk came back and I'm still losing 1-2 pounds a week.…

Gluten free for 3 years now. I do by some GF certified foods, mostly from walmart since they're usually 3-4 dollars cheaper there. But outside of bread, pasta, and pretzels, I usually just eat things that are originally gluten free to begin with. I hear you on the rice though. That's a staple for me, unfortunately. Add me…

If you're exclusively breastfeeding you want to add 500 extra calories to the base that MFP gives you. I am not exclusive anymore since my child is a toddler but she still nurses frequently. I started out adding only 250 extra calories and my milk really suffered. Once I switched it up and added 500 instead, my milk went…

I'm breastfeeding a 19 month old. You can add your breastfeeding calories to your food diary by typing "breastfeeding" into the search bar under Food --> Add Food or you can add them to your exercise diary by typing in "breastfeeding" into the search bar under Exercise --> Cardiovascular --> Add Exercise.
