I'm breastfeeding a 19 month old. You can add your breastfeeding calories to your food diary by typing "breastfeeding" into the search bar under Food --> Add Food or you can add them to your exercise diary by typing in "breastfeeding" into the search bar under Exercise --> Cardiovascular --> Add Exercise.0

How many ounces do you log when you're exclusively BFing? I pump once a day and get about 10 oz that I freeze. I have no idea how much she actually drinks.0

If you're exclusively breastfeeding you want to add 500 extra calories to the base that MFP gives you. I am not exclusive anymore since my child is a toddler but she still nurses frequently. I started out adding only 250 extra calories and my milk really suffered. Once I switched it up and added 500 instead, my milk went back to normal and I'm still losing 1-2 pounds a week.
MFP tells me I should eat 1200 cal a day, so with the extra 500, I'm actually eating 1700.0 -
Thanks ladies :-)0
