If you are looking for responses from just the ladies then I apologize in advance, but I will weigh in. I used to wear XL shirts and could not tuck them in to satisfy my tastes, hated the large bulky shirts but it hid my belly. Now that my stomach is flat and I have lost 3 pant sizes, I wear pants that actually fit, my…

I am doing the same thing, went from 205 to 165 and have switched to maintenance. Currently eating minor deficit and lifting heavy. Lots of protein.

LOL, check out my diary for the past weekend, I completely blew it. But, I can get back on track this week and stay on progress. Just keep logging and doing what you need to do. I dont think anyone can stay that disciplined to not over eat from time to time.

Try to keep it simple: If your calorie goal is 1200 and you work out 500, then your calories for the day should be 1700. If you dont work out, stay under your calorie goal of 1200. If you work out, MFP adds those calories back as net calories and you should be eating those back. I wont debate your goal as I have been as…

I go whenever I can, sometimes I wait for my wife, other times I dont. I prefer the mornings on the weekends, but during the work week its frequently 6:30 or later. I have been as late as 10:30, still sleep like a baby. The point is go whenever you can, no matter what time. At least it is something, and something is better…

There is a guy at my gym who wears nothing but mesh shirts. He is built, but I just find it funny that he would wear mesh shirts.

I was telling my wife last night after a pretty good work out how much I love working out. I crave it, not sure if its an escape per say, not from work, nor the kids as they are pretty self reliant at this point. I just enjoy the feeling of working out and getting stronger.

Ignore them and do what you want to do. You are not working on goals for them, only you. Who cares what anyone thinks, the only concern you have should have is what you think of yourself. Pucker up buttercup and do your thang.

We are about in the same place, I cut to 170 and am very happy with the results but would like the BF to be a tad lower as well. I have just switched to a slight maintenance. Hopefully I will see some results, still going to try to build muscle and lower body fat, difference is I am eating another 800 calories a day than I…

Agree with above, if you have a HRM use the numbers it gives you as it will be more accurate. If you use the HRM and eat a deficit, the scale will start moving. I dont do anything without my HRM and it is always lower than the machines tell me.

You are only as old as you feel. I felt much older than 41 when I first started, wont even try to explain how much better I feel now.

I try to be on every day as well.
