The force is strong with this one! Feel free to add me, I'm more of a general geek come Whovian but always like new friends :)

When it comes to online I am pretty thick skinned. I don't care what some random stranger on the internet says to me. But in real life, if someone close to me said something hurtful....I would probably be very upset.

Cute! I love your glasses :)

Almost done work for the weekend!

I tried it and had some success with it. But it cut out too many things that I enjoy (I still eat foods I enjoy just track the calories and have in moderation), so I knew I wouldn't stick with it too long. If you really enjoy eating the foods that are suitable in that plan then you might do well on it. I did find it…

I have noticed a bit of saggier skin on my boobs, but a decent supporting bra works fine. They have maybe lost a cup size but everything else has shrunk too so they are in proportion. I find a balconette style bra to be the best for uplift and giving that "fuller" look at the top of the boob. I find plunge or padded ones…

Mistym - Pretty eyes and I like your shirt!

Dammit!! Why don't I get this?? I would be exercising three times a day LMAO!

I'm the same as the above, some things I just cannot have in the house. I buy myself sweet treats that I know I am ok to eat in moderation. The things I go crazy for, I just do without as I KNOW I won't just eat 1 or 2.

My profile pic says it all, Doctor Who!! Without a doubt.

I have some awesome geeks in my friends list, so any awesome geeks on this thread who are not already there then please friend me!

I'd say weight lifting / strength training combined with a calorie deficit gives the best overall results for how you actually look. You can probably lose weight faster with other cardio based exercises but hanging on to as much muscle as possible during weight loss will give you fab results. And maybe throw some cardio in…

I used to buy the golden syrup ones but when trying to save money I bought a massive bag of rolled oats for like £1 and a big jar of golden syrup. Tastes loads better than the pre flavoured ones and much cheaper :)

You haven't defined male or female sexy friends. The guy in my profile pic is sexy.... but yeah....I'm not him.

Yep leftovers. I had Spanish chicken last night. Had about three tablespoons left over so put it in a tub and had it over a jacket potato (baked in oven before work then finished in microwave). Yummy and filling.

To me, a hubby who loves you should love and adore you at any weight. If you don't want to lose weight then he should accept that. If you do want to lose weight then he should support you and give you help, not ultimatums. He may just not find your current body shape attractive, that's fair enough. We all like and dislike…

I generally eat higher calories on weekends and lower during the week. Just because I find it easier to control my calories while sat working in the office and I "save" some calories for weekends, maybe for an ice cream while at the park with the kids or a couple of glasses of wine. Although I am generally much more active…

I have to say..... I wish I could lose weight eating what you do LOL :)

I'd say check your diary entries hun. I'm a few lb heavier than you, 34yrs but am only 5ft 4. If I eat 1700 calories a day I can lose 1lb a week without any exercise. If you are eating 1800 and doing all that exercise then I would expect you to be losing. On the days you exercise you are probably netting around 1400 give…

I think it depends what your goals are. If you are losing weight while eating what you want and can keep up that level of activity, and your goal is weight loss, then it's a win! Eating a lot of fast food, take out, packaged food will mean there are quite a lot of additives and possibly a lot of salt and sugar. But if they…

Another fan of shock absorber here!

If I happen to notice another woman lifting weights at my gym (which is unlikely because I don't really pay attention to anyone else) and I notice she is using small weights.... I think "bloody good for you!". Everyone has to start somewhere. Just go for it x

It is difficult to get a place for London, so if you specifically want to do that one you are probably best doing it for a charity (some get so many places allocated) and fundraising for the charity. But apply anyway, you never know!

I've never run a marathon (nowhere near lol) but I hear good things about the Hal Higdon marathon training schedule. You can google it and find info on the website. My brother in law ran the London marathon and he didn't actually do major training for it, but was overall very fit and sporty. But he felt so ill after, he…

I like the Lidl one, I add a little granulated sweetener and vanilla essence, it's yummy. If you get the fat free ones they aren't high in calories. I like to add some quark to increase the protein and mix with sweetener and vanilla, it makes a really creamy dessert. I dollop it over strawberries.

Sure why not? He can tell by looking at me that I don't weight 120lb. He loves me, including my wobbly bits and won't think any less of me just because of a number on the scales.

As the above post said, eating enough protein and some kind of strength training will help preserve muscle mass. Also I believe that losing the weight slowly and steadily can help too.

We have a Syrian called Merlin. Before him we had one called Poppy. They are pretty easy to look after. Clean their cages regular, fresh food and water each day. We give the mixed hamster food but give him fresh fruit (not citrus), veggies, bits of cheese and even things like a bit of scrambled egg. Make sure it has…

I'm currently pregnant but am thinking of trying some kind of fasting to shift the baby weight post pregnancy. I find that if I eat breakfast I feel hungry for the remainder of the day and seem to want to snack all morning between breakfast and lunch so maybe that kind of fasting may work for me.

I would stick to speed walking and save up to have some well fitted running shoes made. I'm the opposite and have very high arches in my feet. My podiatrist make me some special insoles moulded to my feet that gave proper support and I noticed it was so much better. Luckily she only charged me £40 for these.
