I'm shooting to get under 147lbs and then will determine what is appropriate for me from there as I know its definitely less than that. I think every body type is different so there isn't one right answer!

If you are set to be losing 1.5 a week, then that's 6 lbs a month. You are pretty close to right on! Unfortunately the only healthy way to lose weigh and keep it off is slow and steady. Hang in there and you will meet your goals.

I haven't done a lot of research in the heart rate monitors but I thought some of them were watches and not ones that had to be strapped to the chest?
